Cedar City Hotels

The second Marriott hotel in Cedar City opened in 2017, right at the south edge of town (2 miles from the center) beside I-15 at the Cross Hollow Road exit; a lightly developed area, with good views of the nearby mountains. Guests are within walking distance of many restaurants and several large stores, on the opposite side of the interstate. The building contains 112 rooms & suites, on four storeys, and it features a comfortable lobby with media board, an indoor pool/whirlpool, a convenience store, meeting space and the Bistro restaurant, open for breakfast, dinner & evening drinks.

New for spring 2026, the Hampton Inn is a central Cedar City hotel, along the main road, Bus 15, just south of the intersection with Center Street, within walking distance of shops, bars, restaurants and other attractions. Southern Utah University is two blocks west. The five floor property offers the usual amenities of free hot breakfast, a fitness center, meeting space, sundry store and an indoor swimming pool. Accommodations include a selection of studio suites, with separate living area.

The SpringHill Suites hotel in Cedar City, UT, is a modern, all-suite property by I-15 exit 57, whose 72 rooms enjoy sweeping desert and mountain views, as well as being well equipped with such amenities as a microwave, refrigerator, dual phone lines and cable TV. The immediate surroundings are quite empty; the closest shops and restaurants are a mile to the north, along Main Street (Highway 130). Guests can take advantage of an indoor pool, whirlpool, fitness room, free continental breakfast and a convenience store. Of the many national and state parks nearby, the nearest is Cedar Breaks, 22 miles east.

Near the south edge of Cedar City, the pet friendly Wingate by Wyndham benefits from quiet surroundings; guest rooms look out over a belt of undeveloped land to the residential neighborhood beyond, and those on the east side have fine views of the mountains which rise up just a few miles away. The nearest restaurants are half a mile west, on the far side of I-15. The above average facilities comprise complimentary wi-fi & hot breakfast, a business center, coin-operated laundry, an indoor pool/whirlpool and a restaurant/bar (Bistro 435). Select guest rooms contain a sofa bed and a kitchenette.

The Ramada is a older, interior corridor property beside the most central of Cedar City's three I-15 exits (W200N; Hwy 56), adjoining a residential neighborhood but close to a good selection of restaurants, on the opposite side of the interstate. The city center is 1.5 miles east, while the regional airport is a similar distance north. Some guest rooms have mountain views; all are equipped with a microwave, refrigerator, coffee/tea maker and ironing facility. Wi-fi and hot breakfast are complimentary. Two meeting rooms cater for events of up to 200 people. Four leisure amenities are an outdoor pool, indoor hot tub, fitness center and volleyball court.

The recently built Holiday Inn Express hotel is situated right at the south edge of Cedar City beside exit 57 of interstate 15, on Main Street, 2 miles from the downtown area. Right behind the hotel to the east rise the steep, forested slopes of the Hurricane Cliffs/Cedar Mountains, and the Kolob Terrace area of Zion National Park is 17 miles to the south. The 80 room Holiday Inn Express has a fitness center, indoor pool/whirlpool, business center and a 35 person meeting room. Above average free breakfast buffet is provided, including a selection of hot items.

Recently converted from another brand, the Best Western Plus has a central location in Cedar City at the intersection of Main Street with W 200 N (Hwy 56), three blocks from Southern Utah University and also within walking distance of plenty of restaurants, bars and small shops. Accommodations are divided between two buildings (part interior corridor, part exterior), separated by the spacious parking area, and the outdoor pool/hot tub; the complex also includes a restaurant, the Depot Grill. Free full breakfast is provided. All guest rooms are equipped with a refrigerator and microwave.

The 58 room Spark by Hilton is situated in a small business park by the Main Street exit of I-15, half a mile from a shopping center with Wal-Mart, Home Depot and several restaurants. Most rooms enjoy mountain views, while some (the king bed suites) are equipped with refrigerator, microwave and sofa bed. The free breakfast includes a selection of hot items. Wi-fi is also complimentary. Guests can relax in a heated indoor pool, and exercise in a fitness center.

The Travelodge provides the only chain lodging at the northernmost of Cedar City's three I-15 exits (62; Main Street), adjacent to a truck stop and gas station, though enjoying rural views in some directions. The place has the traditional two floor, exterior corridor design, with the parking lot and outdoor pool at the front. Inside, the only amenities are the usual free continental breakfast and free internet access. Pets are welcome. Downtown Cedar City is 3.5 miles south.

The three floor, pet friendly Super 8 motel in Cedar City offers only basic amenities (free eight-item continental breakfast, free wi-fi, laundry, business center) but receives many favorable reviews on account of its helpful staff, the clean accommodations and the quiet location, at the edge of a residential district just off I-15 (at the 200N exit). Rooms are available with hot tub bath. For dining there are plenty of restaurants within half a mile, on the far side of the interstate.
