St George Hotels

Centrally located at the intersection of Main Street and St George Boulevard, the Advenire is a luxury, boutique hotel of 60 guest rooms, open late 2019; part of the City View development that also incorporates retail and residential buildings. Within a few blocks are numerous restaurants, bars, shops and other attractions, while scenic rocks and narrow canyons along Red Hills Parkway are just one mile north. Features include a rooftop spa and terrace, and a restaurant/bar. The hotel is also know as Snow House, a reference to the original residence of pioneer Erastus Snow, which was located half a block north.

The full service Holiday Inn St George opened spring 2016, built one block from I-15 exit 5 (Dixie Drive), in a quiet, scenic location overlooking the Virgin River; a hike/bike trail runs right past, following the river and linking with nearby parks. Dixie Convention Center is just across the street are there are plenty of restaurants within walking distance as well as one (Burger Theory) on the premises, open for breakfast, dinner & evening drinks. Accommodations include a selection of suites with separate living area and a sofa bed; all guest rooms contain a microwave, refrigerator and coffee maker. An outdoor pool, whirlpool and fitness center are the leisure amenities.

One of the newest and best rated of the wide selection of hotels in St George is the Courtyard by Marriott, a beautifully clean, modern building in a quiet area on the east side of town, right beneath the black-topped volcanic mesa that separates St George from the adjacent district of Middleton. As well as private residences, the neighborhood has several restaurants and various large stores, within walking distance both north and south. The hotel receives good reviews for its high quality customer service, cleanliness of the rooms and the wide range of facilities, which include a cafe serving breakfast (not free, however), indoor & outdoor pools, a hot tub, exercise room and six meeting rooms totaling 3,517 sq ft of event space.

Residence Inn, the third Marriott all-suite property in St George, opened fall 2025, at the northeast edge of the city near Washington, beside I-15 at the Green Springs Drive exit. The hotel overlooks hole 11 at the Green Spring Golf Course, affording expansive views north across the fairways, towards the Red Cliffs and the Pine Valley Mountains. All the suites (two bedroom, one bedroom and studio) contain a full kitchen. Hot buffet breakfast is complimentary. Amenities include onsite bar, an oversized hot tub, and a lazy river.

The Staybridge Suites (open late 2018) is a long stay/all-suite property beside I-15 near the Bluff Street exit, adjacent to a small business park. There are several restaurants close by, and the Dixie Convention Center is 0.7 miles south. All accommodations include a fully equipped kitchen, and separate living space. Both daily hot breakfast and weekday evening receptions (Mon-Wed) are complimentary, while bbq grills provide an alternative to in-room cooking. Also available are a fitness center, hot tub and outdoor pool.

The Hilton Garden Inn is almost the southernmost hotel in St George, and it has quite a scenic location close to the hills on the south side of town and a short distance from the Virgin River; a hike/cycle trail runs close past, either direction along the river banks. St George Convention Center is right next door. Rooms are large and modern, equipped with microwave/refrigerator and furnished with extra comfortable bedding. The hotel's Great American Grill restaurant is open for breakfast, dinner and evening room service; it also provides catering to support the on-site meetings facilities (total area 4,000 sq ft). Also available are an outdoor pool and a 24 hour convenience store.

The second Hampton Inn in St George opened 2018, beside the Sun River Parkway exit of I-15, just 2 miles from the Arizona stateline, making this the southernmost hotel in Utah. The road continues through a residential estate to the Sun River Golf Club, beside the Virgin River, while in the other direction it leads to St George Regional Airport (9 miles). A good selection of restaurants can be found 2 miles north at the next interstate exit. Free hot breakfast is provided at the hotel, while drinks & snacks can be purchased from a 24 hour convenience store. Accommodations include studio suites, featuring a sofa bed, wet bar and separate living area. For recreation the Hampton Inn offers an indoor pool and an outdoor hot tub, beside a large sundeck.

St George's Hampton Inn enjoys a prominent location at I-15 exit 8, beside Zion Factory Stores Mall and near various restaurants, shops and other hotels. Dixie State College is also within walking distance, on the far side of the interstate, while Zion National Park is 40 miles away via scenic highway 9. The 124 room hotel offers reliable, mid range accommodation with the high class Hilton standard of customer service, and amenities of free hot breakfast, an indoor pool/whirlpool, fitness center, business center and two meeting rooms.

Right next to a Marriott sister property (Courtyard), TownePlace Suites St George is a sleek, well managed hotel catering more to extended stay guests. Contained within are 84 spacious suites in studio, one bed and two bed configurations, all featuring a full kitchen, large work desk and extra comfortable bedding; other hotel amenities are an outdoor pool, hot tub, 24 hour convenience store, laundry, exercise room and picnic area. The TownePlace Suites is one block south of a shopping center (Factory Outlets Mall) and also close to I-15 (exit 8), yet has a quiet location, with long distance views over deserts and mountains to the south and west.

The Wingate is the most upscale and fully featured of several Wyndham Group properties in St George, and also the southernmost hotel in the city, located beside I-15 exit 4, in a mostly residential district though just across the street from a Walmart superstore and several restaurants (some of which operate a free delivery service). It is also the closest hotel (11 miles) to the new St George Municipal Airport. All the oversized guest rooms feature a microwave, refrigerator & luxury bedding; also available are various suites, with living area and wet bar. Free hot breakfast is served each morning. Leisure facilities are an outdoor pool, hot tub, fitness center, spa and salon.

Ramada St George is tucked away at the end of a very short side road, beside Zion Factory Stores at the foot of the volcanic mesa that borders the town to the west, and also within easy walking distance of many other shops & restaurants. The rear of the hotel conceals a tropical courtyard garden with outdoor pool, sundeck; inside, facilities include a business center, coin-operated laundry and meeting space for up to 180 people. The free breakfast comes with a selection of hot items. The Ramada is easily accessed from I-15, being just 0.2 east of the St George Boulevard exit.

Open 2026, @HOME is an extended stay Best Western hotel, ideal for travellers planning longer visits, business stays, or multi-day outdoor adventures; strategically located with easy access to natural attractions such as Zion National Park, Snow Canyon State Park, Sand Hollow State Park, and Quail Creek State Park. All suites contain a kitchenette, including refrigerator, stovetop, dishwasher and microwave. General amenities are an outdoor fireplace/grill, an indoor pool, and a fitness center.

The Abbey Inn is the largest and most southerly located of three Best Western hotels in St George, situated along South Bluff Street, 2 blocks north of I-15 exit 6. The hotel occupies an elegant gray-stone building containing 3 floors and 154 rooms, some of which overlook the secluded outdoor pool & hot tub. The hotel is close to Southgate Golf Course and JC Snow Park as well as numerous shops and restaurants; its above average facilities include free full breakfast, a well equipped fitness center, a business center and meeting space for up to 300 people.

Best Western Coral Hills is named after the brightly colored sandstone mesa that rises to the north of town; the hotel sits along St George Boulevard, two blocks from a Best Western sister property (Travel Inn), and it provides a slightly better standard of accommodation, with more facilities. These include a pleasant outdoor pool, fringed by palm trees, a childrens' pool, putting green, fitness center, business center and free full breakfast. There are 98 rooms available (all with microwave/refrigerator), on 2 floors, accessed either by interior or exterior corridors. Some have a balcony, and the hotel enjoys a slightly elevated position allowing long views south towards the Beaver Dam Mountains.

Best Western Travel Inn has a north-central location in town along St George Boulevard (Hwy 34), a busy street of many small shops and restaurants. Dixie State College is 5 blocks east, and the winter home of Brigham Young is 0.5 miles away. The old style, exterior corridor motel has 30 rooms on two stories, arranged around a central courtyard/parking area with a heated outdoor pool at one corner; interior facilities are a hot tub and a basic business center. Good quality free deluxe continental breakfast is served each morning.

St George's Fairfield Inn has a semi-rural location on the south side of town, close to the Virgin River and within sight of the red sandstone hills that rise to the east, marking the edge of the Colorado Plateau. The 99 room hotel is next to St George Convention Center, close to I-15 exit 6 (Bluff Street) and about 2 miles from downtown. Free continental breakfast is provided (including a hot sandwich), with other meals available from the Cracker Barrel restaurant, on the premises.

The Howard Johnson Inn sits in the middle of the main shopping area of St George, centered on the Bluff Street exit of I-15, and is also close to such attractions as Fiesta Family Fun Center, a 21 screen movie theater and a city park with playground & picnic area. All 51 guest rooms contain a microwave/refrigerator, and are on two floors, accessed by exterior corridors, with views across the surrounding parking lot to the southern St George suburbs. Selected accommodations feature a kitchenette. Bbq grills, guest laundry, free wi-fi and free continental breakfast are the main amenities.

Guest rooms at Days Inn St George are distributed amongst several three floor, interior corridor blocks separated by a courtyard garden with hot tub, and an outdoor pool, and occupying a slightly elevated site close to the St George Boulevard exit of Interstate 15; south facing-rooms have good views across the city towards distant mountains. Nearby are several restaurants and other hotels, while a collection of shops can be found half a mile away on the far side of the interstate. Wi-fi and breakfast (continental) are complimentary. Some rooms have kitchenette facilities.

The Super 8 is one of many low-price, limited-facility motels along St George Boulevard on the north side of the city - a generally quiet area, and quite scenic since the sandstone formations of the Red Hills are close by to the north, and the land slopes down to the south affording long-distance views. The place has the old-style, exterior corridor layout, with rooms on two storys accessed by exterior corridors. Complimentary amenities are wi-fi and eight item continental breakfast. Several hot tub suites are available. An outdoor pool is the main leisure amenity.
