Half way between Big Spring and Sweetwater in west Texas, the smaller town of Colorado City has one main place to stay: the Days Inn, situated at the edge of farmland on the north side of town, near I-20 exit 216 (Hwy 208). Although an older, exterior corridor building, the rooms are generally clean and well maintained, and equipped with a refrigerator/microwave. Free continental breakfast, internet access, and an outdoor pool are the only amenities. There are a couple of restaurants close by and a few more in downtown Colorado City, one mile south
