Residence Inn Palo Alto - Los Altos
One of two Marriott hotels on the border between Los Altos and Palo Alto towards the north end of Silicon Valley, the Residence Inn is a beautiful new building containing 156 large suites featuring a full kitchen and a separate living area with extra pull-out sofa bed. The hotel borders a quiet residential area on the south side of the main road through town (El Camino Real; Highway 82), yet is just one block from the many stores and restaurants at the San Antonio Shopping Center. For relaxation, guests may use the fitness room, indoor pool, outdoor pool and hot tub, or just take a walk in the landscaped grounds. Free breakfast is served every day, plus a free evening reception (Mon-Thu).

Courtyard Palo Alto - Los Altos
A little way north of the Residence Inn at 4320 El Camino Real is the only other hotel in Los Altos - the Courtyard, which offers 190 comfortable rooms & suites, a fitness center, outdoor pool, hot tub, convenience store, café serving good quality buffet breakfast, and various facilities for meetings & business. At the rear of the hotel is s small but pleasant courtyard garden with walkways and tropical plants. Stanford University and the center of Palo Alto are 3 miles north along the main road, with other places reached by Highway 101 which runs close by (2 miles east).
