Troutdale Hotels

A new Holiday Inn Express in Troutdale opened summer 2012, replacing an older property of this brand just to the north, on the far side of I-84; this is after full renovation of an existing hotel, the Comfort Inn. There are plenty of facilities within easy walking distance including two travel centers, an outlet mall and a good selection of restaurants. Highlights are free hot breakfast and meeting space for up to 100 people, plus the usual pool, hot tub, fitness center and business center. The comfortable accommodations include a selection of whirlpool suites.

Towards the west side of Troutdale, Best Western Plus Cascade Inn is a small (60 room), interior corridor hotel with a good reputation - guests appreciate the friendly staff, the reasonable rates, the good location close to I-84 but far enough away to escape the traffic noise, and the microwave/refrigerator installed in all accommodations. Places within walking distance include two city parks, several restaurants and a Wal-Mart supercenter. The inn provides free full breakfast, served in a good sized, attractively decorated dining area, and also free evening receptions (soup & cookies) during the week. Other amenities are a steam room, indoor pool/whirlpool, fitness center and business center.

Businesses adjacent to Gresham's Travelodge motel include Walmart to the south, on the far side of the main road (Sandy Boulevard), and Basha's supermarket to the north. There are four restaurants nearby, though onsite facilities are limited to free wi-fi and a basic business center. The standard free continental breakfast is served. Guest rooms, some of which are equipped with a microwave and refrigerator, are contained within a compact, two floor building that is quite well hidden behind lines of trees. Interstate 84 runs past 0.2 miles south.
