Southwest Santa Fe Hotels

Santa Fe's full service DoubleTree hotel is located on the south side of Cerrillos Road, 3 miles from interstate 25 and 6 miles from the historic Plaza district. This part of the city is mostly residential though just to the south, on the far side of Rodeo Road, is the Santa Fe Place mall, and there are several large stores a short distance to the east. The hotel features 130 beautifully decorated rooms with luxurious bedding and upscale fixtures & fittings, and it has two restaurants on-site; the Southwestern-style Patinas, serving breakfast & lunch, and Mezcal Lounge, open for dinner & evening drinks. Also available are all the usual facilities for business, meetings and leisure.

The adobe design of Courtyard Santa Fe helps create a typically Southwestern ambience, enhanced by tropical plants, cool walkways and open patio areas. The hotel is situated 3.5 miles from interstate 25 and 5 miles from downtown Santa Fe, along the busy Cerrillos Rd, though the 212 large rooms all face away from the highway and offer a quiet night's stay. On site is a restaurant/bar (Cafe Santa Fe, serving breakfast & dinner), an indoor pool and whirlpool. The Courtyard has some of the better meeting facilities in Santa Fe, with six rooms totaling over 6,500 sq ft of event space.

The Hampton Inn is a 2020 addition to the many accommodation choices along Cerrillos Road; located on the south side, adjoining two apartment blocks, 1 mile from Santa Fe Place and 5 miles from the city center. Various restaurants and shops are within walking distance. Guests enter through a welcoming fireplace lobby, and can take advantage of all the expected amenities for recreation, business and events. The hotel has four floors and 91 rooms. Hot breakfast and wi-fi are complimentary.

The pet friendly Ramada is one of many hotels along Cerrillos Road, the main route into town from Albuquerque and the southwest - about half way between I-25 and the downtown area. The 76 rooms are newly renovated, include a microwave and refrigerator, and many have fine views of the distant Sangre de Cristo Mountains. Hotel facilities include a business center, sun deck, 24 hour fitness center and an outdoor pool, on the sheltered south side of the property. Free hot breakfast is served each morning.

On the south side of the Turquoise Trail (Highway 14), the 3 floor Holiday Inn Express is a well regarded, all-suite hotel, receiving good reviews for its comfortable rooms, reasonable rates and helpful staff. The building is set back about 300 feet from the main road so ensuring a quiet night's sleep in all of the 60 suites and it has the traditional pinkish adobe design with Southwest decor in the rooms and public areas - which include an indoor pool, hot tub and a dining area where free full breakfast is served. There are half a dozen restaurants one block away, around the junction with Richards Avenue.

The Best Western is the only Santa Fe hotel beside Interstate 25, located at the south end of Cerrillos Road (Hwy 14) beside the Fashion Outlets Mall, in an otherwise lightly developed neighborhood. The historic city center is 8 miles northeast. The three storey property has the traditional adobe design, and it features a fireplace lounge/bar, restaurant (American and Mexican cuisine), sauna, outdoor pool, hot tub and fitness center. Complimentary full breakfast is served each morning.

The adobe style Best Western Inn of Santa Fe offers 97 rooms on 3 floors, in an attractive building along Cerrillos Road, on the south side of the highway. The center of old Santa Fe is an easy 5 mile drive away, the airport is 4 miles west and at least 8 restaurants are found within half a mile. The hotel has an indoor pool/hot tub, a fitness center and a business center. Wi-fi and full hot breakfast are complimentary. Some rooms (and suites) have one or more of a balcony, microwave, refrigerator, sofa bed, minibar and mountain views.

Open early 2018, the Fairfield Inn is the third Marriott hotel in Santa Fe, following the Courtyard and the Residence Inn. The 81 room/suite property is part of the long line of businesses along Cerrillos Road, 4.5 miles southwest of the city center, and 3.5 miles from the I-25 intersection; there are many restaurants and large stores within walking distance, mostly to the west. All accommodations contain a microwave, refrigerator and pull-out sofa bed. Wi-fi and hot breakfast are complimentary. A fitness center, hot tub, indoor pool and business center are the other main amenities.

The 83 room, pet friendly Comfort Inn of Santa Fe is located near the southwestern edge of the city, along Cerrillos Road; 1.6 miles from I-25 exit 278 and 7 miles from the historic downtown area. There are many restaurants within easy walking distance of the hotel, and the largest mall in north New Mexico (Santa Fe Place) is one block away. Leisure facilities are an indoor pool, whirlpool, exercise room and children's playground. Select accommodations contain a microwave and refrigerator. The free breakfast includes a few hot items.

The Quality Inn is part of the group of lodging places beside the main shopping area in town, centered on Santa Fe Mall (0.7 miles away). The hotel is quite large, with 121 rooms in several exterior corridor blocks, surrounded by plenty of parking space; those on the west side have views of the outdoor pool, and the busy suburban neighborhood beyond. The main amenities are free continental breakfast, guest laundry and free wi-fi. Pets are welcome.

Located right next to the Santa Fe Place mall (main stores being JC Penney, Dillard's, Sears & Mervyn's), Baymont Inn Santa Fe occupies a typically Southwest-style building along Cerrillos Road, about 6 miles from the town center but well served by the local bus network. Exit 278 of I-25 is 2.5 miles away. Also nearby are many restaurants, and other shops including Target. The inn provides mid range accommodation in 55 comfortable guest rooms, with the three main amenities of free deluxe continental breakfast, a fitness center and an indoor pool. All accommodations contain a coffee maker, microwave and refrigerator.

The Days Inn is one of the more easterly motels along Cerrillos Road, relatively close (4 miles) to the city center), situated in a typical suburban neighborhood of houses, restaurants, small shops and other businesses. The Southwest-style, pet friendly inn has 83 refrigerator/microwave-equipped rooms on two exterior corridor floors, on two sides of a secluded courtyard garden with outdoor pool, all surrounded by the spacious parking lot. Continental breakfast and wi-fi are complimentary; other facilities are guest laundry, a business center and meeting space.

All accommodations at Econo Lodge Santa Fe contain a refrigerator, while some (the suites) have a microwave and executive desk. The motel is quite small, with 48 rooms, in a two story, interior corridor building along Cerrillos Road; it has an outdoor pool/hot tub at the rear, while interior amenities are limited to a business center and a dining area for the free continental breakfast. The motel is close to many restaurants and large stores including Santa Fe Mall, half a mile south.
