Taos Hotels

Hampton Inn Taos is one of the older properties of this popular chain, occupying a two floor building of 71 rooms, a few of which contain a hot tub bath in addition to the standard facilities. Complimentary amenities are wi-fi, hot breakfast (take-out version available) and, in season, a shuttle to Taos Ski Resort, 22 miles north. The hotel also offers the usual fitness center, pool and business center. There is one restaurant adjacent and others a short walk northwards along the main road (Hwy 68), which reaches the town center after 3 miles.

The Quality Inn has a south central location in Taos, along Paseo del Pueblo Sur, within 2 miles of all major shops and attractions in the historic downtown area. The hotel provides above average facilities including an on-site restaurant/cocktail lounge, free full breakfast, meeting/conference space, an outdoor pool and indoor hot tub. The 99 large and comfortable rooms are equipped with a microwave & refrigerator, and look out over a commercial area with several large stores nearby including Wal-Mart one block north.

Like most Taos hotels, the Super 8 is situated a few miles south of the center along Hwy 68 (Paseo Del Pueblo), in a lightly developed neighborhood with views of mountains to the north and east, and the open plains of the Rio Grande valley to the west. The motel occupies an adobe-style building of two interior corridor floors and 50 rooms, some containing a microwave & refrigerator. Guest laundry and basic business services are available, together with free wi-fi and free continental breakfast. There are several shops and restaurants in the vicinity.
