The seventh Hilton Garden Inn hotel in New Mexico opened in 2015, built along Lovington Highway on the north side of Hobbs, in a rural neighborhood surrounded by empty fields in most directions. Within walking distance are such locations as New Mexico Junior College, Western Heritage Museum, Zia Park Casino and half a dozen restaurants, though the hotel has its own restaurant/bar onsite, open for breakfast, lunch & dinner. The usual three leisure amenities of a pool (indoor), hot tub and fitness room are provided, plus a 24 hour business center and meeting room, capacity 150 people. Accommodations include a selection of one bedroom suites.

The 67 room/suite Hampton Inn is the northernmost hotel in Hobbs, the first to welcome visitors driving along Hwy 18 from Lovington; it has a good location on the east side of the road, set back 300 feet, in a lightly developed area though opposite three major sites: Lea Regional Medical Center, New Mexico Junior College and Zia Park Casino & Racetrack. Free hot breakfast is prepared each morning and a small number of restaurants are within walking distance, to the south. Guests here to work can take advantage of a business center and 432 square foot meeting room. The hotel also has an indoor pool and fitness center.

The Home2 Suites provides extended stay accommodations; studio suites and one bedroom suites, all featuring a fully-equipped kitchen. Hot breakfast is complimentary, as is wi-fi; for other meals there are several restaurants within one block. The pet friendly hotel has a northwesterly location in the city, near highways 18 and 61, also close to several large stores including Walmart and Lowe's. Also available are a business center and a fitness center.

TownePlace Suites provides extended stay accommodation Hobbs, offering 94 two bed, one bed or studio suites (all equipped with a full kitchen), contained within a handsome four story building along Central Avenue, in a developing business/commercial district on the northwest side of the city. There are two restaurants nearby, and others half a mile west along Hwy 18. Free breakfast, free wi-fi, a fitness center, guest laundry, outdoor pool and meeting space are some of the facilities.

The Hawthorn hotel in Hobbs sits along Hwy 18 from Lovington on the northwest side of town close to New Mexico College, University of the Southwest, Lea Country Event Center and Harry McAdams State Park (a golf course). The property enjoys a semi-rural location, with uninterrupted views eastwards over undeveloped lands, and it offers an indoor pool, hot tub, fitness center, microwave/refrigerator in each room, free breakfast, and meeting space.

Holiday Inn Express Hobbs is a bright, stylish, modern hotel of 80 rooms & suites, an indoor pool/whirlpool, fitness & business centers, a 70 person meeting room and a dining area where the free hot buffet breakfast is served. The property is part of a line of shops and other businesses on the north side of Hobbs along Hwy 18, right next to a Wal-Mart and within walking distance of half a dozen restaurants. Rooms have a microwave, refrigerator, coffee/tea maker, and extra-luxurious bedding. The hotel is 2 miles from New Mexico Junior College, Hobbs Industrial Airpark, Ocotillo Golf Course and the College of the Southwest. Downtown Hobbs is 3 miles southeast.

At the southwest corner of the intersection of Marland Boulevard (highway 180/62) with Snyder Street, the Best Western Executive Inn is within a few miles of all major sites in Hobbs town center and adjacent to several restaurants, though the surroundings are generally quiet and residential. The two story hotel has 62 north or south-facing rooms (all containing a microwave/refrigerator), with an outdoor pool at one side and plenty of parking. Complimentary full breakfast is provided. Pets are welcome, for a small charge.

Fairfield Inn & Suites Hobbs has a quiet location right at the edge of the countryside on the north side of town along Joe Harvey Boulevard, a partly residential area though within a mile of various restaurants and shops including a Wal-Mart. Open 2008, the 94 room hotel offers the expected amenities of free continental breakfast, fitness room, pool, hot tub and meeting space, together with the typical Marriott qualities of excellent customer service and beautifully clean rooms.

The Baymont Inn has a peaceful location at the edge of a residential estate a little way east of the Lovington Highway, a short walk from dining and shopping, including such stores as Home Depot, Wal-Mart and Lowe's. Free hot breakfast is prepared each morning, plus free evening receptions where snacks, beer & wine are served. All guest rooms are equipped with a microwave, coffee maker & refrigerator, while the suites have a sitting area with sofa bed. Free wi-fi, guest laundry and a business center are the other main amenities.
