The seventh Hilton Garden Inn hotel in New Mexico opened in 2015, built along Lovington Highway on the north side of Hobbs, in a rural neighborhood surrounded by empty fields in most directions. Within walking distance are such locations as New Mexico Junior College, Western Heritage Museum, Zia Park Casino and half a dozen restaurants, though the hotel has its own restaurant/bar onsite, open for breakfast, lunch & dinner. The usual three leisure amenities of a pool (indoor), hot tub and fitness room are provided, plus a 24 hour business center and meeting room, capacity 150 people. Accommodations include a selection of one bedroom suites.

The 67 room/suite Hampton Inn is the northernmost hotel in Hobbs, the first to welcome visitors driving along Hwy 18 from Lovington; it has a good location on the east side of the road, set back 300 feet, in a lightly developed area though opposite three major sites: Lea Regional Medical Center, New Mexico Junior College and Zia Park Casino & Racetrack. Free hot breakfast is prepared each morning and a small number of restaurants are within walking distance, to the south. Guests here to work can take advantage of a business center and 432 square foot meeting room. The hotel also has an indoor pool and fitness center.

The Zia Park Hotel, a gaming and horse racing property, overlooks the Zia Park Racetrack, just off Hwy 18 on the northwest side of Hobbs, close to New Mexico Junior College. The resort-style hotel also offers three restaurants and a bar featuring live music. A free shuttle serves Lea County Regional Airport, 8 miles south. Continental breakfast is complimentary, while other amenities are a 24 hour fitness center, business center and gift shop. Accommodations include hot tub suites, and some suites with balconies, above the racetrack.

The Home2 Suites provides extended stay accommodations; studio suites and one bedroom suites, all featuring a fully-equipped kitchen. Hot breakfast is complimentary, as is wi-fi; for other meals there are several restaurants within one block. The pet friendly hotel has a northwesterly location in the city, near highways 18 and 61, also close to several large stores including Walmart and Lowe's. Also available are a business center and a fitness center.

TownePlace Suites provides extended stay accommodation Hobbs, offering 94 two bed, one bed or studio suites (all equipped with a full kitchen), contained within a handsome four story building along Central Avenue, in a developing business/commercial district on the northwest side of the city. There are two restaurants nearby, and others half a mile west along Hwy 18. Free breakfast, free wi-fi, a fitness center, guest laundry, outdoor pool and meeting space are some of the facilities.

The Hawthorn hotel in Hobbs sits along Hwy 18 from Lovington on the northwest side of town close to New Mexico College, University of the Southwest, Lea Country Event Center and Harry McAdams State Park (a golf course). The property enjoys a semi-rural location, with uninterrupted views eastwards over undeveloped lands, and it offers an indoor pool, hot tub, fitness center, microwave/refrigerator in each room, free breakfast, and meeting space.

Holiday Inn Express Hobbs is a bright, stylish, modern hotel of 80 rooms & suites, an indoor pool/whirlpool, fitness & business centers, a 70 person meeting room and a dining area where the free hot buffet breakfast is served. The property is part of a line of shops and other businesses on the north side of Hobbs along Hwy 18, right next to a Wal-Mart and within walking distance of half a dozen restaurants. Rooms have a microwave, refrigerator, coffee/tea maker, and extra-luxurious bedding. The hotel is 2 miles from New Mexico Junior College, Hobbs Industrial Airpark, Ocotillo Golf Course and the College of the Southwest. Downtown Hobbs is 3 miles southeast.

At the southwest corner of the intersection of Marland Boulevard (highway 180/62) with Snyder Street, the Best Western Executive Inn is within a few miles of all major sites in Hobbs town center and adjacent to several restaurants, though the surroundings are generally quiet and residential. The two story hotel has 62 north or south-facing rooms (all containing a microwave/refrigerator), with an outdoor pool at one side and plenty of parking. Complimentary full breakfast is provided. Pets are welcome, for a small charge.

Fairfield Inn & Suites Hobbs has a quiet location right at the edge of the countryside on the north side of town along Joe Harvey Boulevard, a partly residential area though within a mile of various restaurants and shops including a Wal-Mart. Open 2008, the 94 room hotel offers the expected amenities of free continental breakfast, fitness room, pool, hot tub and meeting space, together with the typical Marriott qualities of excellent customer service and beautifully clean rooms.

Comfort Suites Hobbs presents an attractive frontage, subtly colored in shades of yellow, with a glass lined lobby at one corner. The hotel is built on farmland a few miles northwest of Hobbs town center along Lovington Highway, though is set back a little from the main road so its 75 oversized rooms allow a quiet night sleep. Some have a full kitchenette, but all are equipped with microwave & refrigerator, and have divided sleeping/living areas. Free deluxe continental breakfast (including waffles), a business center, modern fitness room, convenience store and an indoor pool are the other main facilities.

MainStay Suites Hobbs shares a parking lot with another all-suite Choice Hotels property (Comfort Suites), offering similar but slightly lower priced accommodations. The hotels have a northerly location in town along the Lovington Highway, a short walk from Zia Park Casino and New Mexico Junior College, though within sight of undeveloped land in most directions. Guest rooms at the MainStay Suites feature a sink, refrigerator & microwave, while some have a separate living room with sofa bed. Complimentary amenities are hot breakfast, all-day coffee and wi-fi. An indoor pool, fitness center and business center are the other main facilities. Restaurants, and a Walmart store, can be found 0.8 miles south.

Sleep Inn Hobbs accommodates guests in 67 clean and modern rooms, all equipped with a refrigerator & microwave; a few have a hot tub bath and/or sofa bed. Rates are quite low, the staff friendly, and the hotel provides all the expected facilities - free hot breakfast, free internet access, guest laundry, an indoor pool, hot tub and fitness center. Surrounding the hotel is largely undeveloped land, right at the edge of town along Lovington Highway; the center of Hobbs lies 5 miles southeast.

The Baymont Inn has a peaceful location at the edge of a residential estate a little way east of the Lovington Highway, a short walk from dining and shopping, including such stores as Home Depot, Wal-Mart and Lowe's. Free hot breakfast is prepared each morning, plus free evening receptions where snacks, beer & wine are served. All guest rooms are equipped with a microwave, coffee maker & refrigerator, while the suites have a sitting area with sofa bed. Free wi-fi, guest laundry and a business center are the other main amenities.

Days Inn Hobbs has a relatively central location in town, along US 62/180 near the Hwy 18 intersection, in a mostly residential neighborhood though walking distance from a few restaurants and small stores; the main shopping area in town is 2 miles away, along the Lovington Highway. Guests are accommodated in 59 refrigerator/microwave-equipped rooms, on two floors of an exterior corridor building, which is surrounded by a decent-sized parking lot and also contains a dining area for the free continental breakfast. The only other amenity is free wi-fi.

The two story, exterior corridor Econo Lodge is one of a group of hotels towards the east of Hobbs town center along North Marland Boulevard (US 180/62) - in a residential neighborhood but close to the start of empty farmland, and 4 miles from the border with Texas. There are many restaurants nearby, though most of the large shops and malls are on the west side of town. The main facilities of the motel are an outdoor pool,free wi-fi, free breakfast and a basic business center. All 37 rooms contain a microwave and refrigerator.
