The full service Odessa Marriott opened late summer 2019, and is now one of the largest hotels in west Texas, with 217 guest rooms and suites, on seven floors, together with over 30,000 square feet of conference space, divided between 18 rooms. The hotel has a downtown location, occupying one block between 5th and 6th streets, Texas and Jefferson avenues, two blocks from Odessa Regional Medical Center. The design, decor and interior artworks reflect the local oil/mineral history and the natural landscapes. Other features include a restaurant, bar, Starbuck's outlet and outdoor pool.

The four story, 102 room/suite Holiday Inn Odessa is located by the intersection of 42nd Street (TX 191) with Loop 338 - on the northeast edge of Odessa, 3 miles from downtown, and adjacent to the University of Texas-Permian Basin (UTPB). This is a well reviewed, full service establishment with a restaurant/lounge (open for breakfast, dinner and room service to 9 pm), fitness center, outdoor pool, convenience store & gift shop, and a complimentary shuttle to places within a 15 mile radius - so including all important sites in Odessa as well as Midland International Airport, 9 miles east. Event facilities are some of the best in the city; 2,000 sq ft of space and a largest single capacity of 220, reception style.

Courtyard Odessa is positioned next to a Marriott sister property (Residence Inn), in a developing district right on the east edge of the city, accessed from the Colorado Avenue exit of Hwy 191. Also adjacent are a few restaurants, though most facilities in the city are 2 miles or more to the west. The three floor, 100 guest room, one meeting room property offers all the expected, high quality Marriott amenities, including a modern, comfortable lobby with media wall and restaurant/bar, open for breakfast, dinner and evening drinks. The hotel has a quiet location almost at the east edge of the city, 0.8 miles from University of Texas and 3.7 miles from Interstate 20.

Right opposite the main entrance to University of Texas-Permian Basin, the Hampton Inn is a modern, well managed hotel of three floors and 71 rooms & suites (all containing microwave/refrigerator), with views over a partly residential neighborhood that includes a small lake and area of parkland. Guests are also just a short walk from Music City Mall, the main shopping center in Odessa, around which are several other large stores and a wide range of restaurants. The hotel also offers a fitness center, business center and one meeting room (770 square feet).

The four story (all suite) TownePlace Suites Odessa is built in a semi-residential area next to Music City Mall on the east side of town, just off the JBS Parkway. Extended stay guests have use of 108 rooms in studio, one bed or two bed configurations, all featuring a fully-equipped kitchen complete with dishwasher, stove, microwave and refrigerator/ice maker. Free internet access, a business center, guest laundry, and a pool are some of the other amenities.

All accommodations at Hawthorn Suites Odessa are equipped with a full kitchen, and have plenty of living space. The hotel was newly constructed in 2019, located close to the southeast edge of the city along JBS Parkway, between I-20 and Business 20, within walking distance of several restaurants, though there is a restaurant/bar on the premises, together with an outdoor pool, gazebo with bbq grill, fitness center and meeting space. Hot breakfast is complimentary.

Odessa's Ramada hotel occupies one block at the northeast corner of the intersection of John Ben Shepherd Parkway with Business Loop 20, towards the east side of town; 2.5 miles from University of Texas of the Permian Basin. This is quite a large property of 90 rooms/suites on two floors, in one block centered on an indoor pool/hot tub. Free hot breakfast buffet is provided, and for other meals there is one restaurant adjacent and others within walking distance. The hotel also has a fitness center, a bar and a meeting room. Besides the standard accommodations there are several suites available, with a whirlpool bath and/or sofa bed.

The Holiday Inn Express has a semi-rural location on the south side of I-20 at the US 385 exit, a short walk from Comanche Trail Park, which contains a small lake and a section of wooded stream. The 107 room hotel provides free hot breakfast buffet, and there are several restaurants close by on the far side of the freeway. 24 hour amenities are a fitness center, business center and convenience store, while also available are an outdoor pool, hot tub and meeting room.

Sites within two miles of the Holiday Inn Express in Odessa include Music City Mall, Ratliff Stadium and North Park Plaza, though the immediate surroundings are mostly undeveloped - the hotel sits on the east edge of the city along JBS Parkway, 4 miles from I-20 (exit 121). All accommodations at the recently-built Candlewood Suites Odessa include a fully equipped kitchen with microwave, stove, refrigerator/ice maker and dishwasher. The three floor, 83 suite building has a quiet location at the south end of JBS Parkway near the I-20 intersection, opposite a distribution center but otherwise bordered by undeveloped land, 4 miles from downtown. Drinks and snacks can be purchased 24 hours a day at the Candlewood Cupboard convenience store; other amenities are bbq grills, a fitness center, guest laundry and a business center.

Centerpiece of the 118 room SureStay Plus Hotel by Best Western hotel in Odessa is a large atrium lobby filled with tropical plants, also containing an indoor pool/hot tub/sauna. The hotel is located on the south side of Odessa, just northwest of I-20 exit 116 (US 385; Grant Avenue), in a residential district but with undeveloped land just the other side of the interstate. There is plenty of parking space all around, with room for the largest trucks. Other leisure facilities are a games room and fitness center. Free hot breakfast buffet is served each morning. Two restaurants are close by; others can be found a mile or so north, towards the city center.

Best Western North Odessa Inn is built in a sparsely developed area next to US 191, 2 miles from University of Texas of the Permian Basin and 6 miles east of the city center. The hotel occupies an attractive, four story building externally decorated in blue and red; inside are 75 spacious, modern rooms that all contain a refrigerator and microwave. Free full breakfast is provided each morning - necessary, as there are very few restaurants nearby, or other facilities. The hotel offers all the usual facilities for leisure, business and meetings.

Along JBS Parkway, the Fairfield hotel in Odessa, TX, is situated near the north edge of town in a mixed rural/residential neighborhood, with University of Texas-Permian Basin on one side, and on the other, a walking path leading to the small lake in Memorial Garden Park. Midland International Air and Space Port is 6 miles west.

Howard Johnson Odessa is a typical roadside motel, of two floors and exterior corridors, the guest rooms looking across the parking lot which surrounds the building on all sides. Some have views of the secluded outdoor pool, to the west. The budget-priced property is situated along Business Loop 20 towards the east side of the city, a few blocks from the University of Texas; it also offers coin-operated laundry, free wi-fi and free breakfast.

Microtel Inn Odessa is located near the northeast edge of the city in a quiet, residential district along 50th Street, behind a Lowe's superstore and a short walk from Music City Mall. Complimentary amenities are wi-fi and continental breakfast; for other meals there are numerous restaurants nearby, in and around the mall. A microwave and refrigerator are installed in all accommodations, which include a selection of suites with sofa bed and a spacious living area. The exterior corridor rooms at Travelodge Odessa face east or west, looking out along Hwy 20 in a lightly developed area towards the east edge of the city, 1.2 miles from I-20 exit 120. There are few services in the vicinity; the nearest restaurants are one mile north along JBS Parkway, or 2 miles away around Music City Mall. The hotel has a bar in the lobby, together with all the basic amenities: outdoor pool, fitness & business centers and meeting space. Free continental breakfast is provided.

The Super 8 has a rather isolated location on the south side of Odessa, adjoining an industrial area; reached by the northern I-20 frontage road, near exit 20. The closest restaurants are 2 miles north in the city center. The motel is of modern construction, with three floors and interior corridors, affording long-distance views over the flat surroundings. Accommodations contain a microwave/refrigerator, and include several types of suite, the largest catering for up to six guests. The motel has an indoor pool, fitness & business centers, and it provides free continental breakfast.
