Near the south edge of Hanford, the Best Western Hanford Inn is an average motel-style establishment of 2 floors with outside corridors, 40 rooms and a pool, in a mixed residential/business zone just south of the main road through town (CA 198, near the junction with 11th Avenue). Complimentary continental breakfast is available. Hanford Mall, the municipal airport and the downtown area are all about a mile away, and although the surrounding countryside has little of interest, the hotel is 53 miles from Sequoia National Park and the edge of the Sierra Nevada.

Marriott's representative in Hanford is the Fairfield Inn, open winter 2024/5, situated at the edge of the countryside along Hwy 198, three miles west of the city center - a peaceful, semi-rural location, yet still close to dining and shopping, including a Walmart store. Guest rooms, equipped with microwave and refrigerator, have long-distance views over the flat surroundings. Features include the usual free hot breakfast, a fitness center, a convenience store and meeting space.
