One of two brand new hotels to open in Rifle in 2009, the Hampton Inn is a handsome four storey, 92 room property along Airport Road on the south side of town, just across the street from Wal-Mart, and easily accessed from I-70 exit 90. There are several state parks nearby including Rifle Falls (13 miles), and the hotel is just an hour's drive away from the edge of the Rocky Mountains. The hotel has already earned a reputation for cleanliness and good customer service, and it has all the expected amenities: free hot breakfast, 24 hour convenience store, fitness center, indoor pool, meetings space and basic business services.

Open summer 2009, the newly built Super 8 in Rifle has clean, well equipped rooms all containing a flat screen TV, microwave and refrigerator, and most enjoying views across the Colorado River valley towards distant wooded mesas. The inn is part of a group of restaurants and other businesses including Wal-Mart, on the south side of I-70 by exit 90 (Hwy 13); Rifle town center is one mile north. Amenities are above average for the brand, comprising free continental breakfast, a fitness center, indoor pool/hot tub and a business center. Pets are welcome, for a small fee.
