Comfort Inn Fontana is one of the first hotels for travelers on I-15 arriving in the greater Los Angeles area from the north - located just off exit 113 (Baseline Ave), the three storey inn provides 80 small but comfortable rooms, either facing west directly towards the interstate, or looking east over a residential estate. Several suites are available with a whirlpool bath and divided sleeping/living areas. There is one restaurant right next door, and several others are within a few minutes walk; for shopping the nearest mall is Ontario Mills, 4 miles south. The hotel has a good sized indoor pool and hot tub, with views of a small garden area at the rear. Other amenities are free deluxe continental breakfast, an exercise room, free internet access, 2,000 sq ft of meeting/event space and a microwave/refrigerator in each room.

Facilities are quite basic and rates low, but Econo Lodge Fontana is a newer property with interior corridors, and 58 well-maintained rooms, some equipped with one or more of a refrigerator, microwave and whirlpool bath. The standard free continental breakfast is offered, while for relaxation guests have use of a small outdoor pool and hot tub, in a walled enclosure at the front of the property facing the main road (Valley Blvd). There are four separate shopping centers within half a mile, either side of I-10 exit 64 - including innumerable restaurants, and the Kaiser Foundation Hospital is also just down the street.
