Hotels in Ontario

Recently built (2008), the Holiday Inn hotel at Ontario Airport has establishd a very good reputation on account of its superior accommodations, facilities and staff. The hotel is a handsome, 4 storey building along Holt Blvd towards the east side of town, right next to I-10 (exit 55A) and 1.5 miles from the airport terminal - free shuttle provided. All 180 rooms & suites are smart, modern and comfortable, featuring modern decor and equipment such as flat screen TV, microwave, refrigerator, large work desk and a 2 line phone. The on site restaurant/bar (Landings) is open all day, and room service is available until 11 pm. Leisure facilities are a fitness center, pool and whirlpool, while for those here to work the Holiday Inn offers free internet access, meeting rooms and a business center.

With three major highways within a few miles, 120 room Holiday Inn Express Ontario is well connected to all major locations in the greater Los Angeles area. The beautifully clean, new hotel is built next to an industrial park bordering the 60 Freeway, near the I-15 intersection, and it operates a free shuttle to places within a 5 mile radius, including Ontario Airport (ONT). All the reliable Holiday Inn Express amenities are available - nice free hot breakfast, outdoor pool/hot tub, fitness center, guest laundry and business center.

Amongst the larger of the many good quality hotels in Ontario, the Best Western Innsuites treats guests to free full breakfast, free internet access and free drinks in the evenings. The all-suite property has 15 rooms (one bed or two bed), all very large, and equipped with microwave, refrigerator and flat screen TV; many look out over the pleasant courtyard garden, setting for the decent sized pool and hot tub. For dining the on-site Inn Suites Cafe is open for breakfast, lunch, dinner (plus room service), and there is also a lounge/bar. The property sits close to I-10, 1.6 miles from Ontario Mills Mall by the I-15 junction. Ontario Airport is 2 miles south, served by free shuttle.

Best Western Ontario Airport is part of a small group of hotels next to I-10 exit 54 (Vineyard Ave), 1.5 miles west of the airport terminals. It has an old fashioned layout, with 2 storey, exterior-corridor blocks enclosing the parking lot, but inside the 154 spacious rooms are very clean and modern, featuring flat screen HDTV, microwave, refrigerator, and all new furniture. Food is available 24 hours a day at an adjacent family restaurant, though breakfast (continental) is provided free at the hotel. The other main amenities are an outdoor pool/hot tub, courtesy airport shuttle, guest laundry, business center and a meeting room.

Just across the street from Ontario Convention Center, and adjacent to interstate 10, Residence Inn Ontario Airport provides fully featured, long stay accommodation at affordable rates. The hotel offers 200 suites each containing a complete kitchen, arranged in about 20 two storey apartment blocks separated by shady walkways, with the ample parking lot around the outside. Complimentary facilities are hot breakfast every day, evening light dinner (Mon-Thu), parking, grocery shopping service and an airport shuttle. Guests may also take advantage of a pool, hot tub, fitness center and baseball court.

Good customer service, reasonable rates and a convenient location are the main reasons to stay at Fairfield Inn Ontario, a 116 room Marriott hotel located in a quiet business park on the east side of town, close to interstate 10 (exit 56) - one mile from ONT Airport (served by free 24 hour shuttle). The hotel has a nice outdoor pool, a business center, free internet access and a microwave in each room. Complimentary breakfast is served reach day, including a hot sandwich; for other meals there is a Chinese restaurant right next door.

The newly built Comfort Suites hotel in Ontario opened early 2009 at 1811 East Holt Blvd, 1.5 miles west of Ontario International Airport, and it has many facilities for the business or leisure traveler, together with excellent customer service. The 100 oversized rooms have divided sleeping/living areas and are furnished with a microwave, refrigerator, 42" flat screen TV & pillow top mattresses; some contain a wet bar. Guests benefit from free full breakfast each morning, an outdoor pool/hot tub, 24 hour fitness center, a laundry facility and free airport transportation. The on-site meeting space can accommodate events of up to 100 attendees.

The larger and more northerly of two Econo Lodge establishments in Ontario offers similar facilities to many other budget motels nearby - simple rooms in a older building, a pool/hot tub, and basic free continental breakfast. All the rooms have a microwave & refrigerator, however, are generally clean, and the staff have a good reputation. The address is 1655 E 4th St, 2.5 miles from Ontario Airport, one block from I-10, and opposite a Kmart plus a few fast food restaurants.

Another of the many reasonably priced hotels serving Ontario Airport, the Quality Inn at 514 N Vineyard Ave has 124 nice clean rooms containing a microwave & refrigerator, and all the usual amenities of free continental breakfast, free shuttle to the airport (and selected other locations including Ontario Mills Mall), an outdoor pool/hot tub at the front, and guest laundry. The inn is right next to I-10, exit 54. Visitors have just a short walk to reach the Ontario Convention Center, and there are a number of restaurants close by as well.

The Hilton is one of the closest hotels to Ontario International Airport, situated 2 miles northeast of the terminals at the Haven Avenue exit of interstate 10 - just across the street from Citizens Bank Arena. Although quite old, the building and all 309 guest rooms have been well maintained, and were fully renovated in 2010; the many amenities include BLU Bar & Grill, Starbucks cyber cafe, an outdoor heated pool/hot tub (poolside snack service available), a well equipped fitness center and 24,000 sq ft of flexible meeting/banquet/event space. A 24 hour complimentary airport shuttle service is provided.
