Depoe Bay Hotels

Surfrider Resort, a 2013 addition to the list of Clarion properties, has a magnificent location right on the rocky coast of central Oregon, looking down on a small sandy cove between two cliff-lined promontories, right on the south side of Lincoln Beach, though its address gives the town as Depoe Bay, the center of which is 2 miles south. US 101 runs right past the resort, bordered on the far side by lush forest, part of Fogarty Creek State Park. The hotel has its own restaurant, also named Surfrider, overlooking the ocean and so a perfect location for whale-watching, as well as enjoying the sunset. All accommodations contain a microwave; some have one or more of a balcony, hot tub bath and kitchenette. The other main hotel amenities are a fitness center, indoor saltwater pool and a business center.

The Pacific Ocean is just 350 feet away from Travelodge Depoe Bay, albeit on the far side of US 101 and a line of private residences; the closest coastline access is at Depoe Bay City Park, a third of a mile south. All the guest rooms have full or partial sea views, and are accessed from exterior corridors, from the secure parking area at the rear. General amenities are free continental breakfast, free w-fi and a hot tub, while the rooms feature a microwave, refrigerator, balcony and fireplace. There are several restaurants within walking distance.
