Southeast Denver Hotels (Cherry Creek Area)

Amongst the best of over 70 Marriott proerties in Colorado, Hotel Clio is also the closest to the upscale Cherry Creek Shopping Center and Denver Country Club - 3 miles southeast of the city center along Speer Boulevard/1st Avenue. The hotel (formerly JW Marriott), a member of Marriott's Luxury Collection, features beautiful decor in a mixture of modern and traditional styles, set against the scenic backdrop of the Rocky Mountains. All the expected facilities for business, meetings, events, dining and leisure are provided, plus a few extras like valet parking and a spa/salon. The hotel has 193 guest rooms, including various sizes of suite.

The Jacquard is part of Marriott's Autograph Collection of individual, upscale hotels, and it has a fine, central location in the fashionable Cherry Creek district of southeast Denver, at the corner of 2nd Avenue and Milwaukee Street. Highlight is the rooftop, 75 foot-long pool and bar, giving guests unsurpassed views over the bustling neighborhood. Cherry Creek Shopping Center is one block south and there are numerous restaurants in the vicinity. Entry is via a spacious lobby with plenty of comfortable seating, and linked to the extensive meeting space by a grand staircase. The onsite restaurant, Narrative, serves American-style cuisine.

The largest Marriott hotel in Colorado is located right in the middle of the Denver Tech Center (DTC) - just southeast of the I-25/I-225 intersection - and it offers many facilities for meetings, business and leisure. There are 25 meeting rooms (42,000 sq ft of event space) and 628 guest rooms at Marriott Denver Tech Center, plus all the expected full service amenities of a restaurant, cafe, coffee shop, lounge/bar, business center, pool (indoor & outdoor), whirlpool and fitness center. Despite the nearby interstates, the neighborhood is relatively quiet, especially at weekends, though nearby shopping and dining is rather limited.

Four miles southeast of downtown Denver, DoubleTree by Hilton Denver Cherry Creek is a 274 room, full service hotel with a good location, adjacent to shops & restaurants, a mile from the popular Cherry Creek Shopping Center, and right next to the creek itself, so well placed for guests to take a relaxing walk down the shady, tree-lined path alongside. The on-site restaurant/bar is open for breakfast, lunch & dinner, leisure facilities are the usual fitness center & pool, while event facilities comprise seven meeting rooms (13,464 square feet of space) and a business center. The hotel is quite large, with nine floors and 274 well furnished rooms.

Courtyard Denver Cherry Creek is one of the larger hotels of this brand - a handsome 240 room, 11 floor building along Colorado Boulevard in southeast Denver, just up the street from another Marriott property (the Fairfield Inn). Accommodation is spacious, modern and brightly decorated; all rooms have a microwave, luxurious bedding, large work desk and free internet access, while those facing west have great views of the Rocky Mountains. There is a restaurant on the premises open for breakfast only, but drinks & snacks can be purchased from the 24 hour market and there are quite a few restaurants (and shops) within walking distance along the main road. Other facilities include an indoor pool, whirlpool, fitness center and five meeting rooms.

Residence Inn Denver Cherry Creek offers high quality, all-suite/extended stay lodging in an elegant, four story, 135 room building near the Colorado Boulevard - Cherry Creek Drive intersection, adjacent to a large shopping complex. The suites have a full kitchen, separate areas for sleeping and living, and free internet access. Food for cooking can be ordered using the free grocery delivery service. Both free hot breakfast and free weekday evening receptions are provided; for other dining choices there are several restaurants within a few minute's walk. This location is 1.7 miles from Interstate 25 (exit 203).

Although part of the busy Cherry Creek district of south Denver, featuring many shops, businesses, restaurants and entertainment outlets, Staybridge Suites Denver Cherry Creek has a quiet location along a side road right next to the tree-lined creek, which has a paved foot/cycle path running alongside, leading to several city parks. There are several restaurants and large stores just to the north, however. The hotel is a modern, all-suite property of 121 rooms that contain a full kitchen and separate sleeping/living sections - aimed at extended stay visitors though still fine for shorter stays. Free hot breakfast buffet is served each morning, and a free reception weekday evenings (Tue - Thu). Also available are a convenience store, sports court, fitness center, hot tub, guest laundry, business center and a meeting room

The Hilton Garden Inn has a prime location next to the I-25/I-225 intersection, towards the north side of the Denver Tech Center, and also within a few miles of many shopping & dining outlets, plus the open spaces of Cherry Creek State Park. Hotel highlights include a complimentary local area shuttle, an indoor pool with garden views, a full service restaurant (room service available), a 24 hour convenience store and 3,800 sq ft of meeting space catering for events of up to 300 people. The Belleview station of the Denver light rail system is 0.3 miles west, enabling easy travel to other area attractions.

Rooms at Hilton Garden Inn Denver overlook Cherry Creek just to the north, flowing through a corridor of parkland and trails, though most of the surroundings are a busy mixture of shops, restaurants and other businesses, including Cherry Creek Mall. On-site dining is provided by the Great American Grill, open for breakfast & dinner, while Zink Bar Patio serves snacks and evening drinks. Light meals can also be purchased from the Pavilion Pantry convenience store, cooked using the microwaves in each guest room. Other facilities are a fitness center, pool, hot tub, business center and three meeting rooms.

The Hampton Inn of Cherry Creek is a typically modern, well managed hotel that offers all the expected amenities and provides comfortable accommodations; all contain a microwave & refrigerator, while some have one or more of a sofa bed, whirlpool bath and balcony. Half the rooms (those on the west side) enjoy mountain views. The hotel is part of a business/commercial district along Colorado Boulevard, one mile from I-25 (exit 204) and just over a mile from the 160-store Cherry Creek Shopping Center. Free hot breakfast is served each morning and there are over a dozen restaurants in the vicinity.

Besides the numerous corporate headquarters in the surrounding Denver Tech Center, the Hampton Inn is also close to open countryside, around Cherry Creek reservoir to the east. Other nearby locations include Centennial Airport (8 miles), Park Meadows Mall (5 miles) and Cherry Hills Country Club (6 miles). Accommodation comprises 123 rooms & suites on four floors, with views south across the parking lot & outdoor pool, or north over a garden area. Free hot breakfast, free evening receptions (Mon-Fri), a sports court, business center and meeting space are the main amenities.

MOXY Denver Cherry Creek is one of the first eight US hotels for Marriott's new lifestyle brand, featuring reasonable rates, stylish surroundings and modern technology. Open late 2017, the eight story, 170 room hotel occupies a small site along Josephine Street, one block from the Nordstrom Shopping Center, also within walking distance of Denver Country Club and Cherry Creek Park. Guests enter through a spacious lobby with media wall and plenty of comfortable seating, and can take advantage of such amenities as a restaurant, bar, fitness center and meeting space. Parking is in a two level underground lot.

New for spring 2019, the 95 room/suite Fairfield Inn is nestled between several business premises along Syracuse Street within the Denver Tech Center, at the Belleview Avenue exit of I-25; just down the street from a full service sister property, the Marriott. Standard brand amenities include a fitness center, swimming pool, business center and a dining area for the free hot breakfast. Aside from facilities in the Marriott, there are several other restaurants and bars close by, while open countryside is just a short drive away to the east, at Cherry Creek State Park.
