The well-reviewed Hilton Garden Inn Oakland has a conspicuous location beside the busy I-880/I-238 intersection, on the border between San Lorenzo and San Leandro, and an easy 5 mile drive from Oakland International Airport. There are various restaurants and shops within walking distance including Safeway supermarket, though dining and room service is available on site at the American Grill restaurant (no free breakfast, however). The other main facilities are a 24 hour convenience store, pool, fitness center, business center, free internet access and meetings space. A complimentary shuttle is provided to the airport and to other places within a 5 mile radius.
