Open late 2026, Hilton Garden Inn Oakland Airport Alameda is a short drive from the shoreline of Alameda Beach, which gives spectacular views across the bay towards San Francisco. The hotel shares a building with the Homewood Suites; joint amenities include a restaurant, fitness center, business center and event space. A free shuttle is operated to the airport, 2 miles south.

Hilton's first representative in Alameda is the Hampton Inn & Suites, on the south side of town next to Oakland International Airport - 3 miles from the terminal buildings, served by free shuttle. The 105 room inn is part of a business park, not close to any shops or restaurants, though it does have a scenic location right on the edge of San Francisco Bay. Free hot breakfast is served each morning; other amenities include free internet access, guest laundry, pool & fitness room, business center & meeting space. The nearest freeway is I-880 (3.5 miles).

The 50 one or two bed studio suites at Hawthorn Suites Oakland/Alameda all have a wet bar with microwave, refrigerator & coffee maker, plus separate sleeping/living areas, a work desk and free internet access. The hotel is quite centrally located in Alameda along Webster St, close to many shops & restaurants, and within 2 miles of downtown Oakland, the Alameda Naval Complex, South Shore Shopping Center and various beaches along San Francisco Bay.
