The main hotel in the small city of Port Hueneme, facing the Pacific Ocean on the south side of Oxnard, is the 135 room/suite Holiday Inn Express, located right in the town center just one block from the beach, the harbor and the naval base. A selection of restaurants and shops are within walking distance, plus several city parks. The hotel provides good quality free breakfast buffet including a selection of hot items; other amenities are an outdoor pool, fitness center, 24 hour business center and meeting space for up to 90 people. Guest rooms contain a microwave and refrigerator; some (the one bed suites) have a full kitchenette.
