For leisure the Renaissance has an outdoor rooftop pool, hot tub and a well equipped fitness center. The complimentary shuttle runs every 15 minutes to the airport, just one mile away, and the nearby I-105/I-405 freeways enable quick travel to all west Los Angeles attractions.

The Westin Los Angeles Airport is one of the largest hotels in the area, with 747 rooms, contained within a 12 floor building on the south side of Century Boulevard, one mile east of the terminal buildings, served by 24 hour complimentary shuttle. With over 1,000 well presented rooms & suites, Marriott Los Angeles Airport is one of the largest hotels in California, and a recent renovation has maintained its good reputation for style, comfort and facilities. The main accommodation building rises 18 floors above Century Boulevard, a mile from the LAX terminals (linked by a frequent free shuttle service), and 15 miles from downtown Los Angeles. At the center of the complex is a sheltered courtyard garden containing a sizeable resort-style outdoor pool, with plenty of space for sunbathing and al fresco dining; the numerous interior facilities include a concierge level, four restaurants, a sports bar, business center, fitness center and a massive 55,000 sq ft of meeting/event space.

Less than a mile from LAX Airport, the Sheraton Gateway occupies a distinctive, three-winged building of 803 guest rooms, adjoining a 50,000 square foot events center. Italian-themed Andiamo is the most upscale restaurant, open for dinner only, while dinner & lunch are also available from Landings, a sports bar. Other facilities are a 24 hour fitness center, an outdoor pool, and over 50,000 sq ft of meeting space.

Good, reliable, mid range accommodation is provided by Holiday Inn Los Angeles International Airport, situated along Century Boulevard 2 miles from the terminals, and right next to exit 47 of I-405. Rates are relatively low, partly owing to the age of the building, though regular renovations keep the guest rooms up to date. The hotel operates a free shuttle to the airport, 24 hours a day, and has a car rental desk on site. The lobby level restaurant/lounge serves appetizing food and drinks, open for breakfast, lunch, dinner & room service; other facilities include a fitness center, outdoor pool, gift shop/newsstand, free internet access, guest laundry and several meeting rooms.

Of the three Marriott hotels serving Los Angeles International Airport, closest is the Courtyard LAX along Century Boulevard, just half a mile from the arrival/departure lounges. The 178 soundproofed rooms are part of an attractive, modern, seven story building just off the main highway, with a pleasant pool/garden area at one side and an on site restaurant/lounge (Bistro), open for breakfast, lunch, dinner & room service. For those here to work, the hotel offers free internet access, a full business center and four meeting rooms - largest single capacity is 85. Also available are a complimentary airport shuttle, a fitness center and guest laundry.

Residence Inn Los Angeles LAX opened early 2015, after renovation of an existing building, offering high quality all suite/extended stay lodging, convenient both for airport travelers and those visiting other locations in the west Los Angeles area, with I-405 one mile east. The terminal buildings are one mile west, served by free 24 hour shuttle. The hotel occupies a 12 storey tower, containing 231 suites (two bedroom, one bedroom and studio), all featuring a full kitchen - food for cooking can be purchased via the free grocery delivery service. Hot breakfast and evening receptions are also complimentary. The surrounding district has a mixture of business premises and other hotels but there are a few restaurants within walking distance.

The Embassy Suites is one of the best equipped hotels serving Los Angeles Airport, and offers oversized accommodations; guests have a choice of 222 two room suites, which have a separate living area, refrigerator, microwave and wet bar. Aero Bistro, on the premises, is open for lunch, dinner and evening drinks, while both hot breakfast and light dinners are complimentary. Room service is available between 11 am and 11 pm. The complimentary airport shuttle runs 24 hours a day. Other amenities include a garden atrium lobby, a pool, fitness & business centers, and meeting space. The hotel sits just off Century Boulevard on the north side, 1.2 miles from Terminal 2.

The Homewood Suites near Los Angeles International Airport opened late 2017 after full renovation of an existing property - an imposing, 12 story building along Century Boulevard, less than half a mile from the terminal buildings. Airport shuttle services are complimentary, as are daily hot breakfast and weekday evening social hours. Snacks and cookable meals can be purchased from the 24 hour convenience store, and prepared using the full kitchens in all accommodations. Guests can also take advantage of the free grocery delivery service. The usual pool, whirlpool and fitness center are available for relaxation.

The Hilton Garden Inn is a sizeable hotel of nine floors, along busy Century Boulevard just west of the I-405 intersection, 1.5 miles from LAX Airport, in an industrial/business neighborhood, close to a few restaurants. The hotel opened late 2024 after conversion from another brand, La Quinta. Features include 24 hour airport transportation, onsite lounge/restaurant, a fitness center, and meeting space for u to 200 people.

The Hampton Inn has a rather exposed location, with roads running right past on three sides: La Cienega Boulevard to the west, I-405 to the east and the freeway entrance ramp to the north. Inside though, the property is quiet and comfortable, with modern decor and a good range of facilities. Hot breakfast, wi-fi, parking and a shuttle to the airport (2 miles west) are complimentary, and for other meals there are plenty of restaurants within walking distance along Century Boulevard to the north. Other hotel features are a gift shop, fitness center, 24 hour business center and meeting space.

The 160 room Holiday Inn Express hotel serving Los Angeles International Airport rises five floors above the junction of Airport Boulevard and Manchester Avenue, 2 miles northwest of the terminal buildings and served by complimentary 24 hour airport shuttle. I-405 is reached one mile east, providing easy travel to other places in greater Los Angeles. All the usual good value Holiday Inn Express amenities are provided, including free wi-fi, free hot breakfast, a fitness center, pool, hot tub, gift shop and meeting/event space. There are several restaurants adjacent.

The Airpark Hotel is about the best of the rather limited selection of low cost accommodation in downtown Inglewood, offering clean rooms and a quiet night's sleep, despite the proximity to I-405 which runs past just to the west. A free shuttle is operated 24 hours a day to Los Angeles Airport, 3.3 miles away. There is not much of interest in the immediate neighborhood, though a shopping center and several restaurants are located on the far side of the freeway. The hotel also has a shady outdoor pool & hot tub at the rear, a guest laundry, and a dining area for the free continental breakfast.

Four miles northeast of LAX along Centinela Boulevard, the Best Western Airport Plaza Inn receives favorable guest reviews for its comfortable, extra large rooms, the helpful staff and the reasonable rates. The hotel is close to I-405 and adjacent to a shopping mall with plenty of restaurants; it offers the two main essentials of complimentary breakfast (continental) and a free shuttle to the airport, plus transport to other selected locations including Fox Hills Mall, The Forum, local restaurants and car rental offices.

All 80 rooms at the Best Western Suites Hotel in Inglewood feature a separate living/sleeping area, microwave and refrigerator; some have a wet bar and whirlpool bath. The hotel is close enough (2.5 miles) to LAX to offer a complimentary shuttle, and charges rather lower rates than some of the larger properties closer to the airport on the west side of I-405. Also free are parking, bottled drinking water and a full, hot breakfast each morning. The outdoor pool/hot tub/sundeck are at the front of the hotel next to the main road (Century Boulevard), though one floor up and so provide nice views over the urban surroundings.

Quality Inn LAX Airport is quite a large hotel of 105 microwave/refrigerator-equipped rooms, good for a quick stay before or after traveling to the airport. Accommodation is quite spacious, and well presented, and the hotel is a short walk from several small restaurants and shops along Century Boulevard. Free continental breakfast, courtesy airport shuttle, guest laundry and a rather shady outdoor pool are the other principal amenities. Sightseeing tour and car rental services are also available.

The Days Inn is a typical two floor, exterior corridor establishment of 47 rooms, in two blocks either side of the parking lot, which is shared with a Mexican restaurant and has an outdoor pool at one side. All accommodations have a microwave and refrigerator, and rather restricted views, while other motel amenities are limited to free wi-fi, free continental breakfast, guest laundry and a shuttle to LAX airport (2.7 miles southwest). Nearby places include Venice Beach (7 miles) and Marina del Rey (6 miles). The motel is located along Manchester Boulevard, two blocks from I-405.
