Access to Holiday Inn Express Corning is from exit 630 (South Avenue) of interstate 5 - the hotel is situated right beside the interstate, part of a small area of development in an otherwise rural neighborhood, 2 miles southwest of downtown Corning. There are several restaurants close by including McDonald's, though the town center offers a better choice. The hotel has the usual Holiday Inn Express amenities of free hot breakfast, fitness center, business center, guest laundry, a meeting room and an outdoor pool.

Located at the southeast corner of the junction of I-5 with Corning Road (exit 631), Best Western Corning Inn is well placed for north-south travelers along the interstate, or for those heading east towards the Sierra Nevada mountains. The tree-lined motel has 58 rooms on 2 floors with interior corridors, a heated indoor pool/hot tub, fitness center, plenty of parking and a microwave/refrigerator in each room. Free full breakfast is served each morning. The neighborhood includes several restaurants and a Safeway supermarket.

The Econo Lodge sits beside the southernmost of Corning's two I-5 exits, adjoining two truck stops (with restaurants) and a gas station, though backing on to farmland at the rear. The small, interior corridor, pet friendly motel has an outdoor pool and garden at the front and a spacious parking lot to one side, with many large vehicle places at the back. Interior amenities are the usual free wi-fi, complimentary continental breakfast and a microwave/refrigerator in all guest accommodations.

Corning's Super 8 motel occupies a long, thin building of two floors and 41 rooms, by the west edge of town at 2165 Solano Street, a block east of highway 99 and 2 blocks from I-5 (exit 631). This part of town has several other motels, a few shops and dining at four restaurants, while a little further afield is the Sacramento River (5 miles), an Indian casino (2 miles) and the downtown district (1 mile). The budget-priced, pet friendly hotel offers free continental breakfast, free wi-fi, a business center and an outdoor pool.
