Banning Hotels

The Hampton Inn faces I-10 (north side) about half way between Banning and Beaumont, in a lightly developed area close to San Gorgonio Memorial Hospital and (on the far side of the interstate) Sun Lakes Country Club/Golf Course. There are various shops and restaurants within half a mile, including K-Mart, Wal-Mart and Staples. The hotel serves free hot breakfast each morning, in a two story dining area, and provides a take-out version for guests leaving early (Mon-Fri). Guests have a choice of 94 nicely decorated rooms & suites, all containing a refrigerator; the suites have one or more of a wet bar, sofa bed and hot tub bath. Other amenities at the Hampton Inn include an outdoor pool, free wi-fi and a meeting room.

In the San Bernardino Valley half way (26 miles) between Palm Springs and Riverside, the handsome new Holiday Inn Express hotel in Banning, CA, offers guests 70 large and very clean rooms & suites, featuring free internet access and a large TV. Also available are free hot breakfast, a fitness center and a 24 hour business center. The hotel is built right next to exit 98 (Sunset Avenue) of interstate 10, in a generally quiet, residential area, though there are several restaurants across the road and a supermarket one block west along Ramsey Street. The Holiday Inn Express opened spring 2009.

Pet friendly Quality Inn Banning provides affordable, reliable accommodation in a clean-looking two story, interior corridor building between I-10 and Ramsey Street, the main road through town. Many rooms have views south to the San Jacinto Mountains, or north to the San Bernardino range. The hotel has a small outdoor pool at the front, and interior amenities of free wi-fi, free hot breakfast, coin-operated laundry and a microwave/refrigerator in all guest accommodations.

At the 32nd Street exit of I-10, the pet friendly Days Inn is a typical small, exterior corridor roadside motel of 42 rooms and a small outdoor pool & hot tub, tucked away at the rear of the property, close to the interstate entry ramp though shielded from it by large trees. Interior amenities are the usual free wi-fi, free continental breakfast and a refrigerator/microwave in all guest accommodations, some of which have distant views northwards towards the San Bernardino Mountains . A good selection of restaurants can be found nearby, mostly to the east.

Morongo Casino is 6.5 miles east of Travelodge Banning, while Desert Hills Outlet Mall is 5 miles west, both reached by quick journeys along Interstate 10 which runs right past the hotel; access is from exits 99 and 100. Guest rooms are in two exterior corridor blocks either side of the parking area, and the site also includes a outdoor pool at the front, beneath a few tall palms. There is one restaurant right next door and a dozen more within walking distance. All accommodations have a refrigerator & microwave, and a few contain a hot tub bath. The motel provides free continental breakfast.
