A view of the Sonoran Desert, elevation 2,200 feet, on a warm, sunny day in March 2001. Location is along the road to Alamo Canyon in the northeast corner of Organ Pipe Cactus National Monument - land filled with saguaro and opuntia cacti, beneath the Ajo Mountains to the east.
