The Howard Johnson, formerly Rode Inn, is a typical two floor, exterior corridor property, centered on the parking lot, with the rooms along three sides. The pet friendly motel sits along US 191 towards the west edge of town, a short walk from Safeway supermarket and several restaurants. Free buffet breakfast is provided; other amenities are bbq grills, guest laundry and free wi-fi. Accommodations are equipped with microwave, coffee maker and refrigerator.

The Econo Lodge has a central location in Springerville, along Main Street (US 180/191), within walking distance of shops, restaurants, Casa Malpais Archaeological Park, and the White Mountain Regional Medical Center. Accommodations are on two floors, accessed by exterior corridors, and overlook the central parking lot; some have distant views of the mountains to the west. Coin-operated laundry, and free coffee/tea are the only amenities, plus a refrigerator/microwave in all guest rooms. Pets are welcome.
