On the east side of town in a largely undeveloped, rural area, the Holiday Inn Express Green River (1845 E Main St) has 60 rooms and suites, with most having views over the colorful Book Cliffs to the north (see the view east at sunrise). The hotel is near to the Green River Golf Course, the John Wesley Powell Museum and a family-style restaurant (Tamarisk). Amenities include an indoor pool and breakfast bar.

Best Western River Terrace
The Best Western River Terrace has a pleasant location on the banks of the Green River, at 880 E Main St, a little way east of the town center. Both the guest rooms and the adjoining Tamarisk Restaurant enjoy relaxing views over the water as it flows south towards Canyonlands National Park. The 50 room hotel also has an outdoor pool set amidst landscaped gardens, spa, patios, microwaves & refrigerators in all rooms, and banquet facilities. Amongst the attractions of Green River within walking distance is the John Wesley Powell River History Museum, which also has one of the best collections of books and maps about hiking and exploring in Utah.

Rodeway Inn West Winds Green River
Towards the east of Green River, the Rodeway Inn West Winds is on the north side of Main St (at 525 E), in the middle of a small rural neighborhood between the river and the downtown area. The hotel is 1.5 miles from either exits 160 or 164 of I-70 and is one block from both Green River State Park and Green River Golf Course. The property contains a 24 hour restaurant (West Winds) and is within walking distance of all major sites in town.
