Holiday Inn Lubbock Hotel and Towers
Perhaps the largest hotel in Lubbock is the Holiday Inn Hotel and Towers, with 293 rooms & suites on 6 floors and a 15,000 sq ft conference center, all occupying one block in the downtown area along US 84 (Avenue Q), between 8th and 9th Streets. The on-site restaurant is the Canyon Cafe, serving breakfast, lunch & dinner, with a lounge open until 1 am. Other facilities are an indoor pool, health & fitness center, convenience store and newsstand.

Staybridge Suites Lubbock
Recently converted from another brand, the Staybridge Suites Lubbock has 82 spacious suites with a full kitchen, divided sleeping/living areas, 2 phone lines, and a private bathroom with whirlpool. The hotel is located quite centrally, at the corner of 19th St (US 62) and University Ave, right next to the campus of Texas Tech University. Hot breakfast buffet is proved (free), while for other dining there are several restaurants within easy walking distance.

Holiday Inn Express Hotel & Suites Lubbock
Lubbock's Holiday Inn Express is one of a group of hotels on the west side of I-27 a few blocks north of the TX 289 junction and the US 84 junction, best approached from 58th St, near exit 1A of the interstate. Away from the highways, this is a residential part of Lubbock, but there are a selection of shops and restaurants within 0.5 miles. The hotel has the standard Holiday Express amenities of pool (indoor), whirlpool, fitness center, newsstand and free continental breakfast.

Holiday Inn Lubbock-Park Plaza
Holiday Inn Park Plaza is a large hotel (201 rooms, 2 floors) next to the busy 289 loop road, just east of the junction with Indiana Ave, a few miles south of Lubbock city center. Main feature of the hotel is the Grand Atrium, apparently the largest in west Texas, which as well as the lobby contains a fountain and an indoor pool surrounded by tropical plants. Other facilities are a fitness center, spa, newsstand, lounge, 25,000 feet of meetings space and a restaurant - the Park Plaza Cafe - which serves breakfast, lunch and dinner.

Best Western Lubbock Windsor Inn
The Best Western Windsor Inn is one of a group of hotels along I-27, south of Lubbock city center; this is on the frontage road on the west side of the interstate between exits 1A and 1B. The hotel's 64 rooms face either east or west, and all have microwave, refrigerator, ironing facilities, free long distance access and cable TV. The pool is indoors, free continental breakfast is served, and the nearest restaurants are 0.5 miles away.

The Fairfield Inn is a southwest Lubbock hotel, part of a group of shops and fast food restaurants around the Quaker Ave exit of the 289 loop road, all surrounded by an extensive residential area but with several lakes and parks nearby, including the Lakeridge Country Club. Although close to the freeway, the inn is 500 feet back from the frontage road so escaping the traffic noise. This is a good, if basic hotel, with 64 clean rooms, an indoor pool, hot tub, and free continental breakfast.

Adjacent to the Fairfield Inn, at 4011 S Loop 289, the 78 room Courtyard Lubbock is a similarly clean, modern building - one of the top rated hotels in town, on account of the good location near to dining and shops, the efficient staff, comfortable rooms & beds, and the quality of the free continental breakfast.
