With 368 rooms on 7 floors, the Holiday Inn is one of the largest hotels in downtown Corpus Christi, and like several others is located right on the beachfront, at 1102 S Shoreline Blvd; between the highway and the ocean. The hotel is close to 2 sea side parks; Cole Park to the south and McCaughan Park to the north, and is also within walking distance of Corpus Christi Coliseum and many other sites in the city center. Unusually for this hot location, the hotel's swimming pool is indoors; the other main amenities are a spacious atrium lobby, a cafe serving breakfast & dinner, a lounge/bar and a fitness center. Business travelers are well served by the associated conference center, providing over 13,000 sq ft of meeting space, and 14 separate rooms catering for up to 900.

Along the western approach to Corpus Christi on I-37, the Holiday Inn Express is a newly built hotel, open summer 2011, situated half way between the airport and the downtown area, close to a selection of shops, restaurants and other lodging. Access is from exit 3A, Navigation Boulevard. The hotel is located at the corner of the southbound section of N Shoreline Blvd and Lawrence St, which extends 1000 feet across the sea to a small artificial island, known as a T-head. The attractive, light blue building also contains an exercise facility, breakfast bar & guest laundry facility, and has an outdoor pool.

Newly built Comfort Suites Corpus Christi sits at the edge of farmland along S Padre Island Drive, 5 miles southwest of the city center, and also close to the international airport (4 miles). The hotel is a handsome 4 storey building of 70 well equipped guest rooms - microwave, refrigerator, flat screen TV, DVD player - and the expected range of facilities for leisure, business and meetings. Free full breakfast is served each morning, and there are several restaurants within walking distance.

The Quality Inn & Suites hotel on North Beach, Corpus Christi, opens out directly onto the beach, with some rooms having uninterrupted views east over the bay. The USS Lexington Museum on the Bay is a just short walk southwards, and 2 blocks further, beside the Corpus Christi shipping channel, is the Texas State Aquarium. Nearby Leopard St has a good choice of restaurants and bars.

Good quality lodging at an affordable price is on offer at Rodeway Inn Corpus Christi, a medium sized property alongside I-37 towards the north edge of the city - near an industrial area though the immediate surroundings are quiet & residential, and the hotel is also close to a selection of shops & restaurants.
