The most luxurious of over 70 Marriott hotels in Colorado is also the closest to the upscale Cherry Creek Shopping Center and Denver Country Club - 3 miles southeast of the city center along Speer Blvd/E 1st Ave. JW Marriott Denver at Cherry Creek has an AAA Four Diamond rating and has been voted best hotel in Denver, amongst various other awards. The place is quite new, and the guest rooms & public areas are spotlessly clean, well managed, and beautifully decorated in a mixture of modern and traditional styles. All the expected facilities for business, meetings, events, dining and leisure are provided, plus a few extras like valet parking and a spa/salon.

Newly opened Courtyard Denver Cherry Creek is one of the larger hotels of this brand - a handsome 240 room, 11 floor building along Colorado Blvd in southeast Denver, just up the street from another Marriott property (the Fairfield Inn). Accommodation is spacious, modern and brightly decorated; all rooms have a microwave, luxurious bedding, large work desk and free internet access, while those facing west have great views of the Rocky Mountains. There is a restaurant on the premises open for breakfast only, but drinks & snacks can be purchased from the 24 hour market and there are quite a few restaurants (and shops) within walking distance along the main road. Other facilities include an indoor pool, whirlpool, fitness center and five meeting rooms.

Reasonable rates, clean & comfortable rooms, efficient staff and a fine location are the main features of Fairfield Inn & Suites Denver Cherry Creek, a 10 storey hotel along Colorado Blvd, one block from I-25 (exit 204). The 134 rooms are recently renovated, with upgraded bedding, lighting and furniture; suites have separate living/sleeping areas, a refrigerator and a microwave. The standard free breakfast is provided, in a room off the lobby, and there are plenty of restaurants within walking distance along the main road. Other nearby sites include University of Denver (1.5 miles) and Cherry Creek Shopping Center (2 miles).

Four miles southeast of downtown Denver, the Holiday Inn Select Cherry Creek is a 274 room, full service hotel with a good location, adjacent to shops & restaurants, a mile from the popular Cherry Creek Shopping Center, and right next to the creek itself, so well placed for guests to take a relaxing walk down the shady, tree-lined path alongside. The on-site restaurant/bar is open for breakfast (not free), lunch & dinner, leisure facilities are the usual fitness center & pool, while event facilities comprise 7 meeting rooms (13,464 sq ft of space) and a business center. The hotel is quite large, with 9 floors and 274 well furnished rooms.

The largest Marriott hotel in Colorado is located right in the middle of the Denver Tech Center (DTC) - just southeast of the I-25/I-225 intersection - and it offers many facilities for meetings, business and leisure. There are 25 meeting rooms (42,000 sq ft of event space) and 628 guest rooms at Marriott Denver Tech Center, plus all the expected full service amenities of a restaurant, cafe, coffee shop, lounge/bar, business center, pool (indoor & outdoor), whirlpool and fitness center. Despite the nearby interstates, the neighborhood is relatively quiet, especially at weekends, though nearby shopping and dining is rather limited.

The mid range Marriott extended stay brand is represented in southeast Denver by the TownePlace Suites at 3699 S Monaco Parkway, close to exit 201 of I-25 - 9 miles south of the city center and one mile from the edge of the Denver Tech Center. The all-suite hotel has 113 rooms in three sizes (studio, one bed, two bed), each equipped with a full kitchen, large work desk and free internet access; accommodation is divided into two blocks either side of the main parking area, at the side of which is an outdoor pool and a small garden. Free continental breakfast is served. A grocery store and several restaurants can be found close by, with other dining/entertainment a mile east at Tiffany Plaza & Tamarac Square Mall.

Although part of the busy Cherry Creek district of south Denver, featuring many shops, businesses, restaurants and entertainment outlets, Staybridge Suites Denver Cherry Creek has a quiet location along a side road right next to the tree-lined creek, which has a paved foot/cycle path running alongside, leading to several city parks. The hotel is a modern, all-suite property of 121 rooms that contain a full kitchen and separate sleeping/living sections - aimed at extended stay visitors though still fine for shorter stays. Free hot breakfast buffet is served each morning, and a free reception weekday evenings (Tue - Thu).
