One of only three Crowne Plaza properties in Colorado, the Denver International Airport hotel is quite an old building but was subject of a major renovation in summer 2008, which included installation of a new health/fitness center, lobby and business center. As an upscale, full service establishment, its facilities include a restaurant, lounge/bar, pool, sauna & whirlpool, newsstand, and 19 meeting rooms totaling nearly 80,000 sq ft of event space - this is apparently the largest of any Crowne Plaza hotel, worldwide. There are 255 guest rooms, most with recently updated furnishings and fittings, such as granite work surfaces. A free shuttle is provided to/from the airport, 12.2 miles away. | | |
