As an upscale, full service establishment, its facilities include a restaurant, lounge/bar, pool, sauna & whirlpool, newsstand, and 19 meeting rooms totaling nearly 80,000 sq ft of event space - this is apparently the largest of any Crowne Plaza hotel, worldwide. There are 255 guest rooms, most with recently updated furnishings and fittings, such as granite work surfaces. A free shuttle is provided to/from the airport, 12.2 miles away.

Recent renovations to all guest rooms have kept the Marriott Denver Airport at Gateway Park amongst the top hotels in the city, with modern features like flat screen HD TVs, iPod dock stations and granite countertops. The full service property occupies a sizeable site next to I-70 exit 285 (Pena Blvd) - 12 miles from the airport, 12 miles from the city center & 14 miles from the Denver Tech Center - and amongst its many facilities are a restaurant/lounge (open for breakfast, lunch & dinner), a gift shop, fitness center, pool/whirlpool, and over 6,000 sq ft of meeting/event space. One of several new hotels to open in 2009 along Tower Road near Denver International Airport, the Holiday Inn is a large, full service property offering a high level of customer service and many amenities. The 6 floor building contains 161 guest rooms & suites, an indoor pool/whirlpool, a fitness center, business center and meeting/event space catering for up to 450 guests. The on-site restaurant is Sporting News Grill, open for breakfast, lunch & dinner, plus room service. A free shuttle is operated to the airport; the hotel is 7 miles southwest of the terminals, built right next to another new IHG hotel, the Holiday Inn Express.

The Courtyard hotel at Denver International Airport rises 8 floors above the flat countryside 15 miles east of the city center, part of a group of other hotels 7 miles from the terminal buildings along Tower Road (and right next to another Marriott property, the Fairfield Inn). The Residence Inn of Aurora provides some of the highest quality accommodation near Denver International Airport, catering for both long stay guests and one night visitors in a beautiful, well equipped, four storey building of 124 suites that all contain a full kitchen and separate areas for working, living & sleeping. A free 24 hour shuttle is operated to the airport, 12 miles northeast. Newest of three adjacent Marriott Hotels on Tower Rd (just off Pena Blvd - 7 miles from Denver Airport), the SpringHill Suites accommodates guests in 124 stylish, oversized, beautifully clean rooms that all contain a microwave, refrigerator, HD TV and pull-out sofa bed. Free breakfast buffet is served each morning, beer/wine is available in the lobby lounge during evenings, and snacks & drinks can be purchased at any time from the hotel's 24 hour market. Open summer 2009, the new Denver property from the expanding Cambria Suites brand from Choice Hotels is an exiting addition to the range of full service Denver airport hotels; located along 40th Ave in Aurora (12 miles from DIA), the handsome, modern hotel features an atrium lobby, lounge/bar, bistro restaurant (open for breakfast & dinner), 24 hour convenience store, indoor pool, and good facilities for business & meetings. The 150 oversized rooms offer enhanced amenities like LCD TVs, refrigerator & microwave, plug and play technology & pillow-top mattresses, and they look out over a quiet, partly residential neighborhood one block from interstate 70.

A brand new Holiday Inn Express hotel opened spring 2009 along Tower Road near Denver International Airport, replacing an older property one block north. The surroundings are quiet and rural, apart from many other hotels nearby (including an even newer Holiday Inn), but the nearby freeways ensure easy travel to the city center. Amenities include free hot breakfast, free airport shuttle, free internet access, indoor pool & hot tub, car rental desk, business center and one meeting room. All 139 rooms are modern, elegant and comfortable; the suites have enhanced facilities like a microwave and refrigerator.

Fairfield Inn Denver Airport is another of the hotels along Tower Road, 7 miles from DIA, and surrounded by mostly undeveloped farmland allowing many of the 161 rooms (on 3 floors) to have long distance views westwards to the Rocky Mountains. Like all Marriott properties the Fairfield Inn is clean, well maintained and has excellent staff. A free shuttle is provided to the airport, departing every half hour; park and fly packages are available allowing guests to leave vehicles at the hotel whilst away traveling. Deluxe continental breakfast is served each morning, and the inn has the usual leisure facilities of a pool, hot tub & fitness center.

Comfort Inn Airport is one of the closer hotels to Denver's international airport (12 miles), served by free 24 hour shuttle operated by DIA Park. The inn is fairly new and has 95 decent sized rooms, well furnished, plus facilities of a hot tub, fitness center, guest laundry and an indoor pool - in view from the small dining area where a basic free continental breakfast is provided (waffles included). I-70 runs past just to the north (exit 285), and the surroundings are mostly mixed commercial/rural, though with several restaurants and gas stations nearby. Downtown Denver is 12 miles west.

The 82 oversized rooms at Comfort Suites Denver International Airport are equipped with a microwave, refrigerator and extra sofa bed; some contain a whirlpool bath, and most have long distance views over the flat farmland west of the airport. The hotel is part of a small group of buildings along Tower Road, 8 miles from the terminal buildings, and served by free 24 hour shuttle. There is one restaurant nearby, the Moonlight Diner, though free hot breakfast is available at the hotel, together with a fitness center, hot tub, guest laundry and one meeting room.

The Red Roof Inn was renovated in 2008 and rebranded as Quality Inn & Suites Denver International Airport - a substantial, 122 room property along Tower Road, 8 miles from the airport and 16 miles east of Denver city center. Accommodation is large and comfortable, all rooms are equipped with a refrigerator & free internet access, and the hotel provides the expected free airport shuttle, free continental breakfast, free parking, and a pool/hot tub/fitness center.

Aurora's Sleep Inn has a peaceful location next to a new residential development along E 40th Ave, close to the Airport Blvd exit of I-70, and a 12 mile drive from Denver International Airport - free 24 hour shuttle available. Rooms are comfortable but basic; some have a microwave and refrigerator, while the hotel offers free continental breakfast, guest-use computer, and indoor pool and sundeck. There are a few restaurants within walking distance.
