Virgin Hotels

Open early 2019, the Fairfield Inn is the first hotel in the little town of Virgin, 14 miles west of the entrance to Zion National Park, along Hwy 9. The hotel is two minute's walk from the wooded banks of the Virgin River, and sits right opposite the junction with the Kolob Reservoir Road, which accesses the less-visited higher elevation regions of the park. There are no facilities in the area; the nearest restaurants are a few miles west in Hurricane and La Verkin. All guest rooms enjoy scenic views, of colorful cliffs and the green river valley, and some have a private balcony or patio. Other hotel highlights are an outdoor pool/hot tub, kid's pool with water features, a fire pit, and a cafe serving drinks & snacks. Hot breakfast is complimentary.

Zion Wildflower Resort is a glamping operation, located on the east edge of Virgin along Hwy 9 at the junction with Kolob Reservoir Road, with views of low mesas in most directions. Accommodations are a mix of tents, cabins and wagons, all featuring air conditioning and upscale fixtures & fittings. All-day dining is available from the Wildflower Cafe, on the premises. Leisure amenities are an outdoor pool, volleyball court and table tennis. A shuttle servers the local area, including Zion National Park, 14 miles east.

AutoCamp Zion is an unusual lodging arrangement; guests are accommodated in a collection of Airstream trailers, with a scenic setting inside a broad bend on the Virgin River - on the east edge of town along Hwy 9, 13 miles from Zion National Park. The site is partially lined by cottonwood trees and has fine views of red cliffs, north and south. The trailers feature a bathroom, kitchenette and living area (with sofa bed), plus fire pits and bbq grills, while general amenities are a convenience store, outdoor pool and onsite restaurant.
