Murrieta Hotels

The four story Courtyard hotel (open summer 2017) adjoins a Marriott sister property, the extended stay Residence Inn, along Madison Avenue on the east side of Murrieta, part of a busy commercial corridor that includes many restaurants and large stores. The hotels are two blocks from Interstate 15, the Murrieta Hot Springs exit. The main features of the Courtyard are an indoor pool/whirlpool, a spacious, modern lobby, a business center & meeting space, and a restaurant, open for breakfast, dinner, room service & evening drinks.

The Residence Inn is part of a developing commercial area along Madison Avenue, a few blocks from downtown Murrieta and a short distance west of I-15; there are various large stores within walking distance, including Walmart, Home Depot and Best Buy, together with over a dozen restaurants. The four floor, extended stay property contains 101 suites, in two bedroom, one bedroom and studio layouts, all featuring free wi-fi, a large work desk and a full kitchen. Food for cooking can be ordered via the free grocery delivery service. Also complimentary are daily hot breakfasts and weekday evening social hours. A meeting room, bbq grills, outdoor pool and fitness center are some of the other amenities. The center of Temecula is 5 miles south. The hotel opened late 2015.

The Hampton Inn is a northeast Murrietta hotel, about 2 miles from the city center and 6 miles from Temecula, positioned between a residential street (Hancock Avenue) and I-215. There are various restaurants and shops one block north, and more on the far side of the freeway. The hotel opened early 2017, and its main facilities are an outdoor pool/whirlpool, fitness/business centers, a snack shop, and meeting space for up to 100 people. Accommodations include a selection of suites with sofa bed and extra living space; all rooms have a microwave & refrigerator. Free hot breakfast is provided each morning.

The Holiday Inn Express in Murrieta (open late 2019) has a prominent location alongside I-15 near the California Oaks Road exit, next to Reading Cinemas at Cal Oaks Plaza and Murrieta Mesa High School. Guests are also within walking distance of a supermarket, a wide selection of restaurants and several other large stores. Hotel features include an open plan lobby, an outdoor pool, a fitness center, three meeting rooms, and complimentary hot breakfast buffet.

The Comfort Inn & Suites in Murrieta has built up a good reputation, for its clean rooms, friendly staff, reasonable rates, above average free breakfast, and the fine location - just 5 miles from Temecula, where hotels charge generally higher prices. Although beside a shopping center and close to interstate 15 (exit 65), the 65 rooms look out over a generally rural landscape, with wooded mountains both east and west; nearby Temecula Valley has over 20 wineries within 15 miles. The three floor Comfort Inn presents a new, well maintained appearance, and offers other amenities of a meeting room, indoor pool, whirlpool, fitness center, and some guest rooms with refrigerator/microwave.
