Ceres Hotels

Three miles south of downtown Modesto, the recently opened Microtel Inn Ceres has a good reputation for its low rates, friendly service, clean rooms and good facilities, which include deluxe free continental breakfast, pool & spa, business center and guest laundry. Standard rooms are smallish but brightly decorated and well equipped, with extra comfortable bedding plus a sink, refrigerator & microwave. The suites have a sofa bed and a separate living area. Pets are welcome. The hotel faces Hwy 99 (east side) in a mostly residential area, half a mile south of Ceres Plaza Shopping Center.

The Howard Johnson Inn is located three miles from Modesto along the eastern Hwy 99 frontage road, less than half a mile from a good selection of shops and restaurants at Ceres Plaza. The exterior corridor, mostly ground floor rooms are arranged around three sides of the central parking lot, in the middle of which is an outdoor pool and small garden; inside, facilities are limited to a meeting room and a dining area for the free continental breakfast. All guest rooms have a refrigerator, coffee maker and microwave.
