San Rafael Swell > QTVR Panorama A view from a small hill beside the rest area just before interstate 70 cuts through the San Rafael Reef, 18 miles west of the town of Green River - taken early in the morning looking directly into the sun in one direction and without using a tripod. Land to the east is mostly flat - this is the northern part of the San Rafael Desert, while to the west the upturned eroded strata of Wingate sandstone rise abruptly. To navigate in a panorama, use the mouse to click and drag the picture left or right, or the keyboard arrow keys. Press the Shift key to zoom in or the Control key to zoom out. |
