At the west side of St George, but close to downtown, the 163 room Holiday Inn St George has a pleasant setting beneath a volcanic mesa (West Black Ridge), in an urban neighborhood. The hotel is on the west side of S Bluff St (UT 18), close to shopping centers, many restaurants and JC Snow Park. The Holiday Inn has enhanced facilities including a restaurant, indoor & outdoor pools, sports court, newsstand/gift shop, fitness center and family games arcade.

Best Western Abbey Inn
One of three Best Western hotels in St George, the Best Western Abbey Inn is the largest and most southerly located - at 1129 S Bluff St, 2 blocks north of exit 6 of I-15. This is an elegant grey-stone building containing 3 floors and 154 rooms, some of which overlook the outdoor pool & hot tub. The hotel is close to Southgate Golf Course and JC Snow Park as well as numerous shops and restaurants.

Best Western Travel Inn
The Best Western Travel Inn is at the southeast corner of the junction of E St George Blvd with N 300 E St, at the north edge of town. The center of St George is just a few blocks south and every necessary facility is within a short distance. The hotel has 30 rooms arranged around a central courtyard/parking area, with a heated outdoor pool at one corner. The winter home of Brigham Young is 0.5 miles away.

Two blocks west of the Travel Inn is another Best Western hotel, named Coral Hills after the brightly colored sandstone mesa that rises to the north of town. The hotel is located at 125 E Saint George Blvd, on the north side of the road, and has an outdoor pool, fringed by palm trees, with 98 rooms on 2 floors, facing either east or west.

Fairfield Inn St George
St George's Fairfield Inn has a semi-rural location on the south side of town, close to the Virgin River and within sight of the red sandstone hills that rise to the east, marking the edge of the Colorado Plateau. The 99 room hotel is next to St George Convention Center, close to I-15 exit 6 (S Bluff St) and about 2 miles from downtown. Free continental breakfast is provided, with other meals available from the Cracker Barrel restaurant, on the premises.

Courtyard St. George
One of the newest and perhaps the best of the wide selection of hotels in St George, UT, is the Courtyard by Marriott, a beautifully clean, modern building in a quiet area on the east side of town, right beneath the black-topped volcanic mesa that separates St George from the adjacent district of Middleton. As well as private residences, the neighborhood has several restaurants and various large stores, within walking distance both north and south. The hotel receives good reviews for its high quality customer service, cleanliness of the rooms and the wide range of facilities, which include a cafe serving breakfast (not free, however), indoor & outdoor pools, a hot tub, exercise room, free airport shuttle, and 6 meeting rooms totaling 3,517 sq ft of event space.

Quality Inn South Bluff Saint George
The Quality Inn St George is one of several hotels at the south end of town (1165 S Bluff St), near exit 6 of interstate 15; it has a relaxing setting with palm trees, lawns, a sheltered courtyard/sun deck and an outdoor pool. One block north of exit 6 of I-15, the Comfort Suites St George is well placed for travelers arriving from Nevada and the south. The hotel has rooms on 2 floors, with balconies & patios, and most rooms overlook the outdoor pool and central gardens, which have mature palm trees, yucca and other desert plants. The Comfort Suites is at the south edge of town (1239 S Main St), adjacent to several restaurants and close to many other amenities.

Rodeway Inn Red Hills
The Rodeway Inn Red Hills hotel has a slightly elevated position at the north edge of St George, high enough to overlook much of the downtown area. The land to the north is barren, red and sandy, rising more steeply to the Red Hills after which the inn is named. The hotel has rooms on 2 floors with exterior corridors, in 3 blocks built around a nice outdoor pool bordered by several large palm trees. Address is 995 E Red Hills Parkway, just northwest of I-15 exit 8.
