Flaming Gorge National Recreation Area > QTVR Panorama

A panorama above Sheep Creek Bay, at the southwest corner of Flaming Gorge National Recreation Area, from the hillside south of the lake. The road in the foreground is UT 44, which follows Sheep Creek Canyon to the west for a couple of miles before turning right towards Manila, though a narrower road continues further along the canyon, towards the tree-covered slopes of Jensen Peak in the distance. Most of the southern aspect is taken up with the grassy foothills of Ute Mountain, which several miles away rises to 10,250 feet.
