Downtown Las Vegas Hotels

Best Western Main Street Inn has a north central location, on the corner of the junction of Main Street with Washington Avenue, one mile from Fremont Street and downtown Las Vegas, and 2 blocks east of exit 44 of I-15. The 91 room, 3 floor, exterior corridor hotel includes an Italian/American restaurant, a cocktail/gaming lounge and an outdoor pool, though this is rather isolated in the middle of the parking lot. Rooms are clean, rates generally quite low, and the staff are friendly & helpful. Attractions within walking distance include the Cashman Center, a theater, baseball stadium and exhibition venue.

Although situated in a rather run down area of town, Econo Lodge Las Vegas is a nice budget motel, with 121 simple, clean rooms in a 2 floor, exterior corridor building that snakes around the central parking area. Amenities are limited to free continental breakfast, free wi-fi and an outdoor pool/sun deck, but the location is good as the hotel is within walking distance of the north end of the Strip - 0.8 miles from the Stratosphere, and about the same distance from Fremont Street in downtown Las Vegas.
