The hotel is built alongside the Boulder Highway in a lightly-developed neighborhood 2 miles north of Henderson town center, and 10 miles from downtown Las Vegas. There are a few convenience stores nearby, plenty of restaurants and several casinos; for more serious shopping the nearest center is the Galleria Mall, 2.3 miles west. Facilities at the Holiday Inn comprise a cafe open for breakfast & dinner (room service available), a lounge/bar, outdoor pool, fitness center, meeting rooms, and guest laundry.

The hotel is quite centrally located in the greater Las Vegas area; downtown Henderson is a few miles away to the southeast while Las Vegas International Airport is 8 miles west. At the edge of an extensive residential area around the Wildhorse Golf Club, the Courtyard Las Vegas Henderson/Green Valley is approximately half way between The Strip and downtown Henderson, and also quite close to Las Vegas International Airport (5 miles away, served by complimentary shuttle). The hotel is located on the northeast corner of the intersection of N Green Valley Pkwy with E Sunset Rd, opposite various restaurants and shops including Albertson's. At the rear, hidden from the road, is a beautiful courtyard garden area with outdoor pool, hot tub, and plenty of palm trees; inside, the 155 rooms are clean and modern, as expected. There is a restaurant on site for breakfast (not complimentary).

The Residence Inn Las Vegas Henderson (2190 Olympic Ave) operates a free shuttle to The Strip and Las Vegas International Airport, putting guests within easy reach of the main attractions in town.
