Yosemite National Park > Tuolumne Meadows > Hiking > Mount Dana > QTVR Panorama The summit of 13,057 foot Mount Dana provides what some consider to be the best high elevation view in all the Sierras, extending from the Great Basin Desert in Nevada across to the Central Valley in California. Landmarks in the foreground include (clockwise from the north) Mt Warren, Dana Plateau, Glacier Canyon, Mono Lake, Mt Gibbs, Parker Pass Creek, Helen, Spillway & Kuna Lakes, Dana Meadows & Tuolumne Meadows, Dog Lake, the Gaylor and Granite Lakes, Tioga Lake and the Tioga Crest. To navigate in a panorama, use the mouse to click and drag the picture left or right, or the keyboard arrow keys. Press the Shift key to zoom in or the Control key to zoom out. |
