From the boardwalk trail across the edge of Zumwalt Meadows in the middle of Kings Canyon National Park, the view eastwards includes Buck Peak, Glacier Monument, and the steep northern face of Grand Sentinel. In the other direction, the South Fork of the Kings River flows gently around a wide bend, bordered by tall woodland of pine and cedar.
