Six miles north of Santa Cruz in the quiet town of Scotts Valley, the Best Western is a medium sized (58 room) hotel with Spanish design influences, situated towards the north side of town just off Highway 17. Some of the top floor rooms have views across the valley to the redwood hills beyond, location of several state parks including Henry Cowell, Forest of Nisene Marks and the Big Basin Redwoods. The hotel features a nice outdoor pool & hot tub, a steam room, spa and a business center. A small selection of restaurants can be found a short distance south along the main road (Scotts Valley Drive).
