As its name suggests, Best Western Sunrise Hotel faces Redondo Beach Marina, within sight of the Pacific Ocean; the nearest major beach is half a mile north, while the shops and restaurants around Redondo Beach Pier are a similar distance south. Also nearby, just a couple of minutes walk away, is a city park containing a picnic area, sandy beach and a shallow pool. The hotel has a good reputation for its clean, quiet & comfortable rooms, and the friendly staff. Amenities include the usual free continental breakfast, a nice, sheltered outdoor pool, a hot tub, exercise room, and facilities for business, meetings & events.

Rooms at the Mediterranean-style Best Western Redondo Beach Galleria Inn are comfortable and quiet, despite the hotel's location along busy Artesia Blvd, which leads directly to the beach, 2.7 miles west. In the other direction, a five minute walk reaches the edge of the huge South Bay Galleria Mall, containing many shops, restaurants and a 16 screen movie theater. Los Angeles Airport is 8 miles away, mostly along I-405. The Best Western is quite small (51 rooms), but well managed, and offers complimentary breakfast, a hot tub, steam room, free internet access and guest laundry.
