Besides all the usual business and leisure facilities, the Manhattan Beach Marriott boasts its own 9 hole golf course - part of a beautiful, 26 acre site in a quiet, mostly residential neighborhood on the north side of town, 2 miles from the Pacific Ocean. Los Angeles Airport is also nearby (4 miles), though the hotel does not operate a free shuttle. The 385 rooms & suites are large, comfortable and well maintained, if a little aged; half have golf course views, and the others look north towards the main road past the hotel (Rosecrans Ave), along which are several nearby restaurants. The hotel has two restaurants on site, however, plus a lounge/bar, outdoor pool & hot tub, fitness center, concierge level, and 25,000 sq ft of meeting space.

Marriott's Residence Inn Manhattan Beach has the older design for this brand, with the 176 townhouse suites divided into several blocks arranged around courtyards, tree-lined walkways and the parking lot. The larger penthouse suites are on 2 levels, with two bedrooms above the living area, which for all rooms includes a full kitchen. Guests benefit from a number of complimentary amenities - hot breakfast, evening light dinner (Mon-Wed), parking, internet access and a grocery shopping service; the nearest supermarket (Ralphs) is half a mile north. There are various other shops and restaurants close by along the main road (Sepulveda Blvd, the Pacific Coast Hwy), while the nearest beach is 1.5 miles west, and LAX is 4 miles north. For relaxation, the Residence Inn has a pool, hot tub, fitness center and sports court.
