For a small town, Rancho Cordova, CA, has a good selection of lodging, and one of the best rated is the Courtyard hotel at 10683 White Rock Rd - part of a group of businesses, restaurants and other hotels alongside US 50 a little way northeast of the town center, and 11 miles from downtown Sacramento. The tree-lined hotel features an enclosed central courtyard, typical of the brand, that contains a gazebo, flower beds, lawns, an outdoor pool and whirlpool. Although the Courtyard is close to the highway, all 145 rooms offer a quiet and comfortable night's sleep, and many have views over the beautiful gardens. The hotel's Courtyard Cafe is open for breakfast (not complimentary).

One of three Marriott hotels in Rancho Cordova, the 3 storey Residence Inn caters for long stay travelers to the east Sacramento area in 90 modern suites, all containing a large working area and a full kitchen including a refrigerator, toaster, microwave & dishwasher. The most luxurious hotel in the Rancho Cordova area is the AAA four diamond-rated Marriott Sacramento Rancho Cordova, offering all necessary facilities for leisure and business travelers, plus the excellent customer service common to Marriott brand properties. The hotel is an easy 15 mile drive from downtown Sacramento, all along the US 50 Freeway, and is just a few miles from the Rancho Cordova business parks, yet is also close to the relaxing scenery of the American River Parkway and Lake Natoma. Facilities at the 263 room Marriott include a restaurant/bar, Starbucks coffee house, pool/hot tub/fitness center, and 14,000 sq ft of meetings space (14 separate rooms).

The 104 room Fairfield Inn of Rancho Cordova is one of the older properties of this brand (formerly a Wingate Inn), but a full renovation in 2007 updated all the guest rooms and public amenities. The hotel provides comfortable, reasonably-priced lodging with amenities of free full breakfast, free internet access, an outdoor pool, a business center, meeting room and a fitness center. For dining, the nearest restaurants are on the far side of US 50 - the hotel is located just south of the highway, at the Zinfandel Drive exit.

Previously a Days Inn, the new Comfort Inn of Rancho Cordova is one of the first Sacramento-area hotels for westbound travelers arriving along US 50 - the inn is located along Folsom Blvd by the Hazel Ave exit, close to Lake Natoma and Folsom Lake State Recreation Area. The twin accommodation blocks are surrounded by palm trees and enclose a tropical courtyard garden with heated outdoor pool, creating a peaceful environment in which to stay. There are 118 rooms, all with microwave, refrigerator and flat screen TV; free continental breakfast is provided.

Rancho Cordova's Days Inn hotel offers 111 rooms and a four storey atrium lobby, located near the center of town and one block south of highway 50 (Mather Field exit - the air force base is a short distance south). The main accommodation block encloses an outdoor pool & courtyard with palm trees; other leisure amenities are an exercise room and hot tub. All rooms have a microwave and refrigerator, ironing and coffee making facilities. Complimentary breakfast is provided, while for dinner there are 2 restaurants adjacent and others within a mile - mostly along Folsom Blvd on the north side of US 50.
