The small southern California town of Murrieta has only one main hotel, but the Comfort Inn & Suites has a very good reputation, for its clean rooms, friendly staff, reasonable rates, above average free continental breakfast, and the fine location - just 5 miles from Temecula, where hotels charge generally higher prices. Although beside a shopping center and close to interstate 15 (exit 65), the 65 rooms look out over a generally rural landscape, with wooded mountains both east and west; nearby Temecula Valley has over 20 wineries within 15 miles. The three floor Comfort Inn presents a new, well maintained appearance, and offers other amenities of a meeting room, indoor pool, whirlpool, fitness center, and some guest rooms with refrigerator/microwave.
