The three main hotels in Manteca, CA, are within half a mile of each other along E Yosemite Ave (CA 120), close to Highway 99 at the southeast edge of town. Perhaps the best is the 3 floor, 72 room/suite Holiday Inn Express, which sits just off the main road facing a shopping center with restaurants and several stores including Target. All rooms are large and perfectly clean, well equipped with amenities such as a microwave, full refrigerator and coffee maker. The inn serves the familiar Express Start free continental breakfast, and offers leisure facilities of an outdoor pool and whirlpool.

The Best Western Executive Inn & Suites in Manteca, one of many towns described as 'The Gateway to Yosemite', is an older property in a small commercial district on the southeast side of town, next to Highway 99. Although the famous national park is nearly 100 miles away to the east, Manteca is about half way between it and San Francisco, so a good place to break the journey. The Best Western offers average accommodation with free continental breakfast and a nice outdoor pool.

Along E Yosemite Avenue (Highway 120), in a quiet residential area 0.3 miles from Highway 99, Comfort Inn Manteca is a well maintained and well managed hotel, surrounded by plenty of parking and with an outdoor heated pool & hot tub at the front. The neighborhood is quiet and mostly residential though there are at least 10 restaurants a short walk away westwards. Above average free continental breakfast is served.
