Most luxurious of the many hotels serving LAX is by general agreement the Renaissance Los Angeles Airport, which features modern, stylish design and decor in the 499 rooms & suites and throughout all the public areas, which include a spacious lobby, concierge lounge, a restaurant (96th Street Bistro, open all day), a lobby bar, a full service business center and 17 meeting rooms - the largest can accommodate events of up to 700 guests. For leisure the Renaissance has an outdoor rooftop pool, hot tub and a well equipped fitness center. The complimentary shuttle runs every 15 minutes to the airport, just one mile away, and the nearby I-105/I-405 freeways enable quick travel to all west Los Angeles attractions.

With over 1,000 well presented rooms & suites, Marriott Los Angeles Airport is one of the largest hotels in California, and a 2008 renovation has maintained its good reputation for style, comfort and facilities. The main accommodation building rises 18 floors above Century Blvd, a mile from the LAX terminals (linked by a frequent free shuttle service), and 15 miles from downtown Los Angeles. At the center of the complex is a sheltered courtyard garden containing a sizeable resort-style outdoor pool, with plenty of space for sunbathing and al fresco dining; the numerous interior facilities include a concierge level, four restaurants, a sports bar, business center, fitness center and a massive 55,000 sq ft of meeting/event space.

Of the three Marriott hotels serving Los Angeles International Airport, closest is the Courtyard LAX at 6161 W Century Blvd, just half a mile from the arrival/departure lounges. The 178 soundproofed rooms are part of an attractive, modern, seven storey building just off the main highway, with a pleasant pool/garden area at one side and an on site restaurant/lounge (Courtyard Cafe), open for breakfast, lunch, dinner & room service. For those here to work, the hotel offers free internet access, a full business center and four meeting rooms - largest single capacity is 85. Also available are a complimentary airport shuttle, a fitness center and guest laundry.

Amongst the more upscale of the many hotels serving Los Angeles International Airport (LAX), the Crowne Plaza is a large (613 room), fairly old, high rise building along Century Blvd just a mile east of the main terminal, served by free 24 hour shuttle. The good freeway connections mean that many people use the hotel as a base for their whole trip to Los Angeles; nearby places include Santa Monica, Beverly Hills and Hollywood, all about 13 miles away. For relaxation, the hotel has a small but pleasant outdoor pool, a fitness center, sauna and whirlpool, while for dining the Brasserie restaurant/lounge is open all day for meals, snacks, drinks and room service. The excellent meeting facilities at the Crowne Plaza comprise 23 rooms, catering for events of up to 800 (reception style).

Good, reliable, mid range accommodation is provided by Holiday Inn Los Angeles International Airport, situated along Century Blvd 2 miles from the terminals, and right next to exit 47 of I-405. Rates are relatively low, partly owing to the age of the building, though a 2008 renovation freshened up many of the guest rooms. The hotel operates a free shuttle to the airport, 24 hours a day, and has a car rental desk on site. The lobby level restaurant/lounge serves appetizing food and drinks, open for breakfast, lunch, dinner & room service; other facilities include a fitness center, outdoor pool, gift shop/newsstand, free internet access, guest laundry and several meeting rooms.
Open summer 2009, the 160 room Holiday Inn Express hotel serving Los Angeles International Airport rises 5 floors above the junction of Airport Blvd and Manchester Ave, 2 miles northwest of the terminal buildings and served by complimentary 24 hour airport shuttle. I-405 is reached one mile east, providing easy travel to other places in greater Los Angeles. All the usual good value Holiday Inn Express amenities are provided, including free wi-fi, free hot breakfast, a fitness center, pool, hot tub, gift shop and meeting/event space. There are several restaurants adjacent.

The Airpark Hotel is about the best of the rather limited selection of low cost accommodation in Inglewood, offering clean rooms and a quiet night's sleep, despite the proximity to I-405 which runs past just to the west. A free shuttle is operated 24 hours a day to Los Angeles Airport, 3.3 miles away. There is not much of interest in the immediate neighborhood, though a shopping center and several restaurants are located on the far side of the freeway. The hotel also has a shady outdoor pool & hot tub at the rear, a guest laundry, and a dining area for the free continental breakfast.
Four miles northeast of LAX along Centinela Blvd, the Best Western Airport Plaza Inn receives favorable guest reviews for its comfortable, extra large rooms, the helpful staff and the reasonable rates. The hotel is close to I-405 and adjacent to a shopping mall with plenty of restaurants; it offers the two main essentials of complimentary breakfast (continental) and a free shuttle to the airport, plus transport to other selected locations including Fox Hills Mall, The Forum, local restaurants and car rental offices.
All 80 rooms at the Best Western Suites Hotel in Inglewood feature a separate living/sleeping area, microwave, refrigerator and flat screen TV; some have a wet bar and whirlpool bath. The hotel is close enough (2.5 miles) to LAX to offer a complimentary shuttle, and charges rather lower rates than some of the larger properties closer to the airport on the west side of I-405. Also free are parking, bottled drinking water and a full, hot breakfast each morning. The outdoor pool/hot tub/sundeck are at the front of the hotel next to the main road (Century Blvd), though one floor up and so provide nice views over the urban surroundings.
Just opposite the Best Western, Comfort Inn LAX Airport is quite a large hotel of 105 microwave/refrigerator-equipped rooms, good for a quick stay before or after traveling to the airport. Accommodation is quite spacious, and well presented, and the hotel is a short walk from several small restaurants and shops along Century Blvd. Free continental breakfast, courtesy airport shuttle, guest laundry and a rather shady outdoor pool are the other principal amenities. Sightseeing tour and car rental services are also available.
The 36 exterior-corridor rooms at Rodeway Inn Inglewood are arranged in two blocks facing a small enclosed courtyard, and are fairly quiet since the motel is set back a little from the nearby main road (Century Blvd, by the junction with Prairie Ave). Hollywood Park is just across the street, and LAX is 3.8 miles west. The only two amenities are a basic free continental breakfast and a sun deck; low rates are the main reason to stay.
