Like all hotels in Schertz the Staybridge Suites is located near the central I-35 exit (Hwy 3009, Roy Richard Drive), close to many shops, restaurants and other businesses, though undeveloped countryside is a short distance west. Open spring 2019, the hotel provides free hot breakfast each morning and free receptions Monday to Wednesday evenings; other meals can be purchased from a 24 hour convenience store. The all-suite accommodations are available in two bedroom and one bedroom layouts, all equipped with a full kitchen. A reading library, bbq grills, patio and outdoor pool are some of the other amenities.

Hampton Inn Schertz occupies a substantial, four story building of 98 rooms & studio suites, part of a small group of restaurants, hotels and other businesses on the south side of I-35, bordered by undeveloped land to the east. There are several large stores nearby including a Wal-Mart on the far side of the interstate. This location is 4 miles from the center of Schertz (and Randolph Air Force Base) and 20 miles from downtown San Antonio. The inn offers free hot breakfast, free internet, a fitness center, business center, snack shop and meeting space.

The Candlewood Suites is a wetern Schertz hotel - along the northern I-35 frontage road at the edge of an extensive business park that includes the Amazon Fulfillment Center, though also within walking distance of several restaurants. San Antonio International Airport is 14 miles away. All accommodations are suites, in studio or one-bedroom layout, and all have a fully equipped kitchen. Wi-fi and guest laundry are complimentary. Recreation facilities are an outdoor saltwater pool, a 24 hour fitness center and a gazebo with bbq grills; food for cooking can be purchased from the 24 hour convenience store.

Over a dozen restaurants are within an easy walk of the Best Western Plus Atrium Inn; the recently renovated hotel has a convenient location in a business/commercial area along the northern I-35 frontage road, also near a selection of shops and large stores. Full breakfast are wi-fi are complimentary. All rooms contain a microwave and refrigerator; some have a balcony and a view of the indoor pool, which is positioned the center of the property beneath a high atrium, lined by tropical plants. A fitness center, business center and meeting room are some of the other amenities.
