The full service Holiday Inn is part of the Jackson Hole Junction project, also including shops, restaurants and other businesses; east of I-15 at the Sunnyside Road intersection (exit 116), 2 miles southwest of the city center. A complimentary shuttle serves the local airport, 4.5 miles north. Residence Inn by Marriott Idaho Falls overlooks Sportsman Park beside the Snake River - part of the Greenbelt system of trails and parkland running for several miles through the city. The hotel is quite large, with five floors and 107 suites, in studio, one bed or two bed configurations, all featuring a full kitchen, executive desk, free wi-fi and luxurious bedding. Free hot breakfast each day and free receptions on weekday evenings are provided; for other meals there are many restaurants nearby, along River Parkway, or on the far side of the river in the downtown area.

Hilton Garden Inn Idaho Falls is part of a row of hotels along Lindsay Boulevard, a quiet road that runs along the west bank of the Snake River, and many of the 113 rooms have views over the water. The Greenbelt path runs right past the hotel, leading along the river to the nearby falls, and there are several restaurants and shops close by, including Wal-Mart. The easternmost of two Hampton Inn hotels in Idaho Falls is built beside Grand Teton Mall, along 25th Street, 4 miles from the nearest I-15 exit. There are any other shops and restaurants nearby, and several health care centers, all just half a mile or so from the edge of the city and the start of open countryside. Facilities are standard for this reliable, mid range chain, including free hot breakfast, business & fitness centers, meeting space (for up to 150 people) and an indoor pool. All guest accommodations contain a microwave and refrigerator.

Some of the guest rooms at Hampton Inn Idaho Falls/Airport have views of the Snake River which flows past a short distance away; the handsome, four story property is part of a group of hotels along a quiet backstreet (Lindsay Boulevard) between I-15 and the river, on the west side of Idaho Falls, 2.5 miles by road from the regional airport. A free shuttle to the airport is provided between 6 am and 11 pm. Free hot breakfast is prepared each morning and for other meals there are half a dozen restaurants within a few minute's walk. A snack shop, laundry, business center, meeting space and indoor pool are some of the other amenities.

The four floor, 124 room SpringHill Suites is the second Marriott hotel in Idaho Falls is situated right on the banks of the Snake River, beside a sister property, the Residence Inn. All accommodations are studio suites, equipped with refrigerator & microwave, while the hotel also offers a fitness center, indoor pool/hot tub and 1,300 square feet of function space. Free breakfast is provided. The Idaho Falls Greenbelt Trail runs past on the east side, and there are plenty of restaurants and shops in the vicinity, including a Walmart superstore.

Le Ritz Hotel, a Choice Hotels property, ha a pleasant setting overlooking the Snake River, separated from it only by a canal, a road and a hike/bike trail - along a quiet side road, accessed from I-15 exit 118. Accommodations are on two stories, in three linked interior corridor blocks, facing the spacious parking area; room for buses and trucks. There are several restaurants within walking distance. Continental breakfast is complimentary. The hotel has a fitness center, a business center and an indoor pool.

One of the few Idaho Falls hotels on the east side of town, the Holiday Inn Express offers 79 clean, modern rooms, an indoor pool, a 24 hour business center, free hot breakfast buffet, free wi-fi and a free shuttle to the airport (6 miles away). The hotel is part of a major shopping/dining district that includes Grand Teton Mall just across the street, and is also just a short walk from Eastern Idaho Regional Medical Center and Mountain View Hospital. Besides the regular accommodations there are several suites available with hot tub bath, sofa bed and wet bar.

The Candlewood Suites in Idaho Falls provides high quality, extended stay/all-suite accommodation in a substantial, four story building right next to the Snake River - the hotel has a garden with picnic tables overlooking the water, and a hike/bike trail runs past along the river's edge. Surrounding the hotel are various shops and businesses along Yellowstone Highway (US 26), and there are several larger stores a short drive away including Wal-Mart, beside interstate 15. Best Western Driftwood Inn has a scenic setting on the west banks of the Snake River; some rooms have views downstream towards the falls, and all are well equipped, containing a microwave, refrigerator, coffee/tea maker and hairdryer. Rooms with a kitchenette, hot tub bath and balcony are available. The hotel has an outdoor pool, also overlooking the river, and interior amenities of a business center, guest laundry and complimentary wi-fi. Free continental breakfast is served each morning, and for lunch/dinner there is a good selection of restaurants two blocks south along River Parkway.

One of a group of hotels facing the Snake River between I-15 exits 118 and 119, Best Western CottonTree Inn is a large, fairly old but well maintained property offering 94 rooms (some with microwave/refrigerator), and including three types of suite - executive, family and kitchenette. East-facing rooms have views over the river and the adjacent Greenbelt parkland. Rates are quite low but the hotel still has all the expected facilities; an indoor pool, hot tub, fitness center, guest laundry, courtesy airport shuttle, free wi-fi and meeting space. Free full breakfast is served.

Fairfield Inn Idaho Falls is one of the closest hotels to interstate 15, located adjacent to exit 118 (Broadway Street), next to several fast food restaurants, gas stations and a Wal-Mart superstore. All rooms are nicely decorated in a bright, modern style, and benefit from the luxurious Marriott bedding; a few have a spa and kitchenette facilities. A small, 24 hour convenience store sells drinks & snacks, and the hotel provides free continental breakfast, including hot sandwiches. Leisure facilities are an indoor pool and whirlpool. Parks and trails along the Snake River are reached by a half mile walk along the main road.

The Comfort Inn of Idaho Falls is a typical highway-side motel providing reliable, mid range accommodation, in a fairly old, interior corridor building, located next to exit 118 (west side) of I-15, in a mostly residential area but close to the usual gas stations and restaurants. The inn has 56 rooms (refrigerator/microwave available), an indoor pool and hot tub; services include free continental breakfast, wi-fi and business center. Pets are welcome, for a fee.

The Quality Inn occupies a distinctive eight floor building overlooking the Snake River near the city center, a short drive from the Broadway Street exit of Interstate 15. The Porter Canal runs past to the west, while to the east is a strip of parkland beside the waterfalls. The hotel has an indoor hot tub and an outdoor pool (shared with the adjacent Rodeway Inn), plus other amenities of a business center, fitness center and coin-operated laundry. Free hot breakfast is served each morning. Guest rooms contain a microwave, refrigerator and sofa bed.

Facilities may be standard (free continental breakfast, indoor pool, fitness center, guest laundry) but Sleep Inn Idaho Falls receives excellent reviews, for its customer service, cleanliness, reasonable rates and the quiet, convenient location, on the south side of the city next to I-15 exit 116. Most rooms look out over farmland and there are few facilities nearby - the nearest restaurants are around 2 miles north, though good quality free continental breakfast is provided by the hotel. All rooms have a refrigerator, microwave, coffee maker and pillow top mattresses.

The main amenity at Econo Lodge Idaho Falls is an outdoor pool, on the sunny south side of the property, which although located beside the I-15 exit ramp at the Broadway Street intersection, has a peaceful location, shielded by trees from the interstate and set back from the main road behind a couple of restaurants. Other features are free wi-fi, coin-operated laundry and granite countertops in the guest rooms; some of these are equipped with a microwave and refrigerator.

Super 8 Idaho Falls enjoys a quiet location along a side street, just 600 feet from the Snake River, which is bordered by parkland and a shoreline trail. Guests are also within walking distance of a number of restaurants, and shops including Wal-Mart. The motel has a modern appearance, with three floors and interior corridors, and is surrounded by a good-sized parking lot. Continental breakfast and wi-fi are complimentary; also available are a business center and hot tub.

The Rodeway Inn is a relatively large though budget-priced hotel with above average amenities, including meeting space, a business center, an indoor hot tub and an outdoor pool, this in a courtyard garden at the center of the property. Some rooms have views of the Snake River which flows right past to the east; access is along River Parkway, a quiet road past parkland and several other hotels. Free continental breakfast is provided, and several restaurants are within walking distance.
