Bright Angel Point Trail
PreviousBright Angel Canyon, below Bright Angel PointNext

The short, partly paved Bright Angel Point Trail leads to the most popular canyon overlook on the North Rim, at the end of a narrow, sparsely wooded promontory. The path starts from Bright Angel Lodge, and passes a few knolls of white limestone, one of which, right at the end, provides the best views of the canyon; the panorama is centered on the long, straight Bright Angel Canyon, followed far below by the North Kaibab Trail.

Length 0.4 miles (0.6 km), elevation change 100 feet (30 meters)
