Johnstown Hotels

The Wingate was the first chain hotel in Johnstown, along I-25 in northern Colorado, though it is closer to Loveland, 5 miles west; the rural center of Johnstown is 8 miles south, along Hwy 60. The 75 room, pet friendly property has a quiet location, one block from the main roads, mostly surrounded by fields, and a short walk from the Big Thompson River. Wi-fi and daily hot breakfast are complimentary, while for other meals there are three restaurants in the vicinity, along US 34. The hotel also offers a fitness center, indoor pool/hot tub and a 20 person meeting room.

The Hawthorn Suites shares a building with another Wyndham property, the Wingate, in a countryside location next to Interstate 25 at the US 34 exit; most of the nearby shops and restaurants are on the opposite side of the intersection, up to one mile away. This is an all-suite hotel; accommodations are equipped with a kitchenette and extra living space, and most enjoy fine views of the Rocky Mountains. Buffet breakfast is complimentary.
