Hotels in Commerce

The upscale DoubleTree Hotel Commerce faces I-5 (north side) at the edge of an extensive commercial/industrial area, 6 miles from downtown Los Angeles and 22 miles from LAX Airport. The many facilities include an on-site restaurant/bar (TerraNova), open for breakfast, lunch, dinner, evening drinks and all-day room service; other restaurants in the vicinity are limited to a few fast food outlets. The hotel offers all the expected facilities for leisure, business, and meetings, catering for events of up to 600 people (in the 5,760 foot Grand Tree ballroom). A complimentary shuttle is operated to places within a 2 mile radius.

Amenities at the reasonably priced Best Western Commerce hotel include free wi-fi, an outdoor pool & sundeck, a fitness center and a business center. All guest rooms contain a coffee maker, microwave, refrigerator & hairdryer. The four floor, interior corridor property has an easily reached location along Gage Avenue next to I-5 on the south side of Commerce, near Downey and Pico Rivera - about half way (15 miles) between Hollywood and Anaheim. There is a small selection of restaurants around the interstate exit, closest is Denny's, adjacent to the hotel. Complimentary hot breakfast is provided.

The Travelodge motel has a rather enclosed location, bordered on all sides, by Interstate 5, a railway, the Rio Hondo river and the access street - Telegraph Road, which leads north through the extensive Commerce business/industrial district. A bike path runs alongside the river, reaching a city park a short distance west, with sports facilities, picnic area and playground. The motel is quite substantial, containing 120 rooms on three floors. All are equipped with a microwave & refrigerator, and some overlook the pretty pool and sundeck at the rear, partly shaded by tall trees. Wi-fi and eight-item continental breakfast are complimentary. Business guests have use of a meeting room and business center.

Rodeway Inn Commerce has a rather exposed location between the access road, Triggs Street, and Interstate 5, and is also close to a railway line. Citadel Outlets Mall is half a mile east, with a large selection of restaurants and shops. The pet friendly motel has rooms on three floors, with exterior corridors, and ifs only amenities are free coffee and free wi-fi.
